In recent weeks, the model numbers of the global Reno 16 lineup have been revealed hinting that multiple devices are in development for international markets. Here are more details.

According to the information shared by tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X, the upcoming lineup will include the Oppo Reno 16 5G with model number CPH2865, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro 5G carrying model number CPH2863 and the Oppo Reno 16F 5G with model number CPH2859.
The Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro have also reportedly received approval from India’s BIS certification platform suggesting that the smartphones could launch in the Indian market in the near future.

Oppo Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro – What to Expect?
The specifications of the China variants of the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro have also surfaced giving an idea of what users can expect from the upcoming global models.
The Oppo Reno 16 features a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2640×1216 pixels. The display supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 3600 nits of local peak brightness.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro comes with a larger 6.78-inch OLED display carrying a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels along with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Both smartphones support 10-bit colour output and high-frequency PWM dimming technology.
Under the hood, the standard Oppo Reno 16 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER chipset. The smartphone is paired with LPDDR5X or LPDDR5 RAM along with UFS 3.1 storage. It packs a 6,700mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The Oppo Reno 16 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. The Pro model features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, and houses a larger 7,000mAh battery. It supports 80W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging support.
Both smartphones run on Android 15-based ColorOS 16. However, Oppo has not yet confirmed the software update policy for the China variants of the Reno 16 series.
For photography, both the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro are equipped with a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary sensor. The setup also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with support for 3.5x optical zoom and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
On the front, both devices feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus support.
