Oppo has officially launched the Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro smartphones in China. Alongside the new smartphones, the company has also introduced the Oppo Enco Air 5s true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in the Chinese market. Here are all the details about the newly launched Oppo devices.
Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro – Key Specifications
The Oppo Reno 16 features a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2640×1216 pixels. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and offers up to 3600 nits local peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro comes with a larger 6.78-inch OLED display carrying a 2772×1272 pixel resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate support. Both smartphones support 10-bit colours and high-frequency PWM dimming technology.
Under the hood, the Oppo Reno 16 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER chipset. The smartphone is paired with LPDDR5X or LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It houses a 6,700mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. The device features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage along with a larger 7,000mAh battery. The Pro model supports 80W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging.
Both smartphones run Android 15-based ColorOS 16. Oppo has not yet announced the software update policy for the China variants.

For photography, the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary sensor. The setup also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS support. On the front, both devices feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus support.
Additional features on the smartphones include stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint scanners, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C port, IR blaster, dual SIM 5G support, and multiple durability certifications including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The Reno 16 supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, while the Reno 16 Pro comes with Wi-Fi 7 support.
Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro – Price and Availability

The Oppo Reno 16 starts at CNY 3,499 (approximately $513) for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant. The top-end 16GB + 1TB version is priced at CNY 4,899 (around $719). The smartphone is available in Moonlit Night Black, Galaxy Purple, and Heart-Fluttering Stars colour options.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 (approximately $543) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The highest-end 16GB + 1TB variant costs CNY 4,799 (around $704). The Pro model is offered in Moonlit Night Black, Dreamy Blue, and Heart-Fluttering Stars shades.
Both smartphones are currently available for purchase in China. Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 16 series globally sometime in June or July.
Oppo Bubble – Magnetic Mini AMOLED Display Accessory

Oppo has also introduced a magnetic mini AMOLED display accessory named Oppo Bubble. This can be attached to the back of compatible Oppo phones for mirror selfies and remote camera previews. This accessory is compatible with Reno 16 series, Reno 14 Series, Find X8 Series and Find X9 series.

Oppo Enco Air 5s – Key Features

Alongside the Reno 16 series, Oppo has also introduced the Oppo Enco Air 5s TWS earbuds. The earbuds feature a semi-in-ear design and come equipped with 12mm dynamic driver units along with dual-channel stereo audio output. They support a frequency response range between 20Hz and 20kHz.
For audio and noise control, the Oppo Enco Air 5s supports active noise cancellation with intelligent switching between deep, light, and transparency modes. The earbuds also feature ENC call noise reduction technology and include a three-microphone setup for voice calls. Oppo has additionally included spatial audio support and AI-powered call noise reduction.
The earbuds support dual-device connectivity and use Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless pairing. Oppo claims a wireless transmission range of up to 10 metres. The earbuds also support sliding gesture-based volume controls and cross-platform connectivity.
The company’s promotional material also highlights support for Oppo ecosystem features including AI translation, remote camera control, and seamless device switching between connected Oppo products.
The charging case houses a 530mAh battery, while each earbud packs a 40.5mAh battery. Charging is handled through a USB Type-C port, and Oppo claims that a full recharge of the earbuds and charging case takes around 90 minutes.

According to Oppo, the Enco Air 5s can offer up to nine hours of music playback on a single charge and up to 48 hours of total battery life with the charging case using the AAC codec at 50 percent volume. With active noise cancellation enabled, the earbuds can deliver up to 4.5 hours of playback, while the combined battery life with the charging case reaches up to 25 hours.
The Oppo Enco Air 5s earbuds also feature IP55-rated dust and water resistance and carry TÜV Rheinland certification for battery durability.
Oppo Enco Air 5s – Price and Availability
The Oppo Enco Air 5s starts at CNY 329 (roughly Rs. 4,600) for the Star Purple colour option. The Moonlight White and Dark Night Black variants are priced at CNY 299 (roughly Rs. 4,200).
As part of the introductory offer, the Star Purple variant is available at CNY 299 (roughly Rs. 4,200), while the white and black colour options can be purchased for CNY 269 (roughly Rs. 3,800).
The Oppo Enco Air 5s is currently available for purchase in China through Oppo’s official channels and partner retail stores.
