Oppo A16K with 6.52-inch HD+ display, Helio G35 SoC and 4,230mAh battery launched at Rs 10,490

Oppo has come up with a new smartphone called Oppo A16K in India. It caters to consumers looking for an entry-level handset that is stylish and lightweight. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 11.1 that promises a smooth user experience, and you also get AI-enhanced camera features that enable users to capture more natural and beautified portraits.

The sleek Oppo A16K is 7.85mm slim, weighs just 175g, and is available in three colours: Black, White, and Blue. It sports a large 6.52-inch HD+ display that boasts All-day Eye Care comprising features such as Sunlight Display, Moonlight Display, and AI Smart Backlight for a healthier and more comfortable viewing experience.

The Oppo A16K packs MediaTek’s Helio G35 SoC, and its performance is further enhanced by System Booster, a suite of system-level optimizations that deliver stutter-free performance 24×7. Its 4,230mAh battery is backed by charging features like Super Night-time Standby, Optimized Night Charging, and Superpower Saving Mode to keep the smartphone charged all day.

The Oppo A16K runs ColorOS11.1 that guarantees efficiency, convenience, privacy, and safety. It includes features such as FlexDrop, Three-finger Translate, and Freeform Screenshot to help improve productivity at work. For those who want to enjoy music or videos in the background while working or playing on the phone, the new Background Stream feature provides an immersive interruption-free experience.

Designed to meet daily-life wear and tear, the Oppo A16K carries an IPX4 splashproof rating. Its all-new graphite sheet acts as heatsinks to prevent the phone from overheating while streaming videos or gaming for extended periods.

For the click-happy, the Oppo A16K includes a 13MP rear main camera that’s designed to capture evenly exposed images in a variety of light conditions. The phone’s Backlit HDR mode retains rich details in shots taken under backlit and low-light conditions; three new night filters also help users capture city nightscapes in different styles and moods.

The smartphone also provides creative post-production assistance with tools such as AI Palette, which can transform images into the style of popular reference images with one click, and SoLoop—Oppo’s easy-to-use, smart video editor—to help users explore their unique creative styles.

The smartphone will be available in India in Blue, White, and Black colours, at Rs 10,490 for 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, with no cost EMI up to 3 months across all the leading banks. The customers can purchase the phone across all channels starting today.
