After weeks of rumours and speculations, Realme 9i has finally arrived. The smartphone has been launched in Vietnam and has also become the first Realme device from the 9 series to go official.
Realme is yet to reveal whether the smartphone will be launched in other regions, including India. However, the company is already teasing the launch of 9i in India and if things go as planned, we will hopefully see the Indian debut of the Realme 9i in a few days from now. Meanwhile, let’s check out the specifications and prices for the latest Realme smartphone.
Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, 401 PPI, 480nits brightness, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
The Realme 9i is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset coupled with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that is further expandable up to 1TB. There is an additional 5GB extendable RAM that uses internal storage. It runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box.
On the back, the Realme 9i has triple cameras comprising a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel third lens. The smartphone comes with 16-megapixel snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Realme 9i is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging. Connectivity options would be 4G, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging.
The Realme 9i is priced at VND 6,290,000 (roughly Rs 20,500) in Vietnam and it can be purchased via Cellphones and Thegioididong portal. The handset will be sold in a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option and can be purchased in Prism Black and Prism Blue colour options.
