Infinix could soon expand its GT series lineup in India with the launch of the Infinix GT 50 Pro. The device has already been introduced in Ghana and is currently available through offline channels, as confirmed by Infinix Ghana’s official Instagram post. Now, new information suggests that the smartphone may be heading to the Indian market in the near future. Here’s what we know about the India launch so far.
According to tipster Debayan Roy @Gadgetsdata on X, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is likely to launch in India within the next one to two months. The smartphone is expected to be priced at around ₹35,000, positioning it in the upper mid-range segment.
As per the latest leaks, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display may also come with Gorilla Glass 7i protection (assuming).
For photography, the smartphone is expected to include a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it may feature a 13MP selfie camera.
The device is also tipped to pack a 6500mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Other expected features of the Infinix GT 50 Pro include an optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, plastic frame and dedicated gaming shoulder buttons.
Earlier listings on Geekbench and Google Play Console suggest that the device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM, and run on Android 16.
Additionally, a Wi-Fi Alliance certification has indicated support for Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
A TÜV certification listing has revealed that the smartphone could come with two battery capacity options, 6340mAh and 5990mAh, depending on the market (assuming).
Apart from India and Ghana, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is also expected to launch in other regions, as it has previously been spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform.
