Motorola appears to be preparing for the launch of its next-generation foldable lineup, the Motorola Razr 70 series. The standard Razr 70 was recently spotted on China’s TENAA certification platform with images and key specifications. However, details about the Ultra variant had remained under wraps.
A new exclusive report by XpertPick, in collaboration with Steve Hemmerstoffer @OnLeaks, has revealed the first look at the Razr 70 Ultra through CAD renders and a 360-degree video. Here’s more on that.
Based on the leaked renders, the overall design of the Razr 70 Ultra appears largely similar to the previous generation. The overall height and width are expected to remain nearly identical, meaning the in-hand feel should stay largely familiar despite a bit of added bulk.
According to OnLeaks, the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra will measure approximately 171.3 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm when unfolded. This would be around 9.6 mm including the camera bump. And when folded, the device is said to measure 88.0 x 74.1 x 15.8 mm, going up to 17.63 mm with the camera module.

For comparison, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is slimmer, measuring 7.2 mm unfolded and 15.7 mm folded. This suggests that the upcoming model could be slightly thicker, possibly due to upgraded camera hardware or a larger battery.
Major changes seem limited with the company possibly focusing more on internal upgrades rather than a redesign.
The leak further reveals that the Razr 70 Ultra will feature a 7-inch inner foldable display along with a 4-inch cover screen. Notably, this is the same display configuration seen on its predecessor, the Razr 60 Ultra.
In terms of design elements, the left side of the device is said to house a dedicated Moto AI button, while the right side includes the volume rocker and power button. The bottom edge features a microphone, speaker grille, USB Type-C port, and SIM slot, whereas the top edge includes a secondary microphone.
Although full specifications are yet to be confirmed, the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The report also suggests that the device could launch in the US as the Motorola Razr Ultra (2026). More details about the device are likely to surface in the coming weeks as the official launch approaches.
