It appears OnePlus is ready to launch its powerful tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. While some reports suggest the official launch is set for May 13, we don’t have a confirmation from the brand as of now. There are also online reports claiming that this could be a rebranded Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which was introduced in April. While nothing is confirmed yet, a recent leak gives us a pretty detailed look at what to expect.
That’s not all, the tablet is also reportedly listed on Oppo’s online store in China confirming some of the leaked specs. So, here’s what we know so far.

According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Pad 2 Pro is expected to come with a 13.2-inch LCD screen, offering a 3.4K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. That’s a step up from the 12.6-inch display on the previous model.
The tipster also posted some renders giving us a glimpse of the pad.

Images show a pill-shaped cutout on the screen, though it’s not yet clear if it’s for a front-facing camera or additional sensors. As for design, leaked renders show the tablet in two colours, Deep Sea Blue and Glacier Silver. The design sticks to OnePlus’s usual minimalist look with clean lines and a sleek finish.
Under the hood, DCS reveals that the tablet is packed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite”, Qualcomm’s top-tier chip, putting it in the same league as flagship phones. It’ll also come with a massive 12,140mAh battery, backed by 67W wired charging.
The tipster also shared memory variant details. In terms of memory and storage, the Pad 2 Pro may launch in multiple variants, which include the following –
A previously rumoured 1TB version doesn’t seem to be in the current plans.
Although OnePlus hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, the leaked specs suggest that the Pad 2 Pro is being positioned to take on premium tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Apple iPad Pro. With the official launch just around the corner, we can expect more details to emerge soon.
