The iQOO Neo 12 has appeared on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications ahead of the expected launch. The listing reveals the phone’s model number, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 16GB RAM and Android 17 operating system. The device scored 3,621 points in the single-core test and 11,078 points in the multi-core test.

The Geekbench listing identifies the iQOO Neo 12 with the V2618A / PD2618 model numbers. The phone is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and 16GB of RAM. It will reportedly run Android 17.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Powers the iQOO Neo 12
The Geekbench listing confirms that the iQOO Neo 12 is being tested with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This is in line with earlier reports that had already tipped the same processor for the upcoming Neo series phone.
Previous leaks also suggested that iQOO could pair the chipset with a dedicated gaming or display chip to improve gaming performance. However, the company has not officially confirmed this additional chip yet.
The Geekbench listing also shows 16GB of RAM, which should give the phone plenty of memory for demanding apps and gaming. The device is listed with Android 17.
iQOO Neo 12 Could Get a 2K 185Hz Display
Earlier leaks have pointed to a 6.83-inch flat display with a 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. More recently, the phone was tipped to be testing a 185Hz refresh rate. This could make the Neo 12 one of the most ambitious high-refresh-rate smartphones if the feature makes it to the final product.
However, the 185Hz refresh rate should still be treated as a tipped specification for now. iQOO has not confirmed the display details.
iQOO Neo 12 Could Pack a 9,000mAh+ Battery
Earlier reports suggested that prototypes of the phone were being tested with a battery exceeding 9,000mAh. iQOO was reportedly also testing an even larger battery capacity. The phone is expected to support 100W fast charging.
Other leaked features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a high-level water-resistance rating. These specifications have not been officially confirmed yet.
Could iQOO Neo 12 Launch in India as iQOO 16R?
The iQOO Neo 12 could reportedly get a different name when it reaches India. The China model has been associated with the V2618A / PD2618 model numbers, while a tipster has suggested that the India-bound version could carry a different model number.
There is also speculation that the phone could launch in India under the iQOO 16R branding. However, iQOO has not confirmed that the Neo 12 will be rebranded as the iQOO 16R in India.
