OnePlus has increased the prices of the OnePlus Nord CE6 and OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite in India. The latest price hike comes just two weeks after the launch of the Nord CE6 series in the country with both smartphones now becoming costlier by up to Rs 3,000 depending on the variant.
The increase in pricing is reportedly linked to the ongoing memory cost crisis that has been affecting the smartphone industry for several months. Here are more details.
The OnePlus Nord CE6 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which originally launched at Rs 29,999, is now priced at Rs 31,999. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 256GB variant has received a Rs 2,000 price increase and now costs Rs 34,999 instead of Rs 32,999.
The more affordable OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite has also received a price hike across all variants. The base 6GB + 128GB version is now priced at Rs 22,999 up from its original launch price of Rs 20,999.
Similarly, the 8GB + 128GB variant now costs Rs 25,999 instead of Rs 22,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB model is now available at Rs 28,999 compared to its earlier price of Rs 25,999.
| Model | Old Price | New Price |
| OnePlus Nord CE6 8/128GB | Rs 29,999 | Rs 31,999 |
| OnePlus Nord CE6 8/256GB | Rs 32,999 | Rs 34,999 |
| OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite 6/128GB | Rs 20,999 | Rs 22,999 |
| OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite 8/128GB | Rs 22,999 | Rs 25,999 |
| OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite 8/256GB | Rs 25,999 | Rs 28,999 |
The OnePlus Nord CE6 series was launched in India earlier this month as a more affordable alternative to the OnePlus Nord 6 lineup. Following the latest revision, the smartphones now carry significantly higher price tags compared to their launch pricing.
Despite the latest price hike, the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite still offers strong value for users looking for a dependable mid-range smartphone. The device comes with a large 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and capable cameras suitable for everyday photography. However, one drawback is the absence of an AMOLED display especially when competing phones in the same segment already offer AMOLED panels.
The OnePlus Nord CE6, on the other hand, brings several notable upgrades over its predecessor including a 1.5K 144Hz display, IP69K-rated durability, and a massive 8,000mAh battery. These features make it an attractive option for users seeking strong battery life and a high-quality display experience in the mid-range segment.
Although the camera setup remains relatively modest compared to some competitors. So, users primarily focused on photography may want to explore other alternatives before making a purchase decision.
