2022 is here to stay for a few more weeks following which the new year, 2023, will also see the launch of a slew of devices from many of the aforementioned names but since there is still a month to go, there are some devices lined up for release even now.

Among the well-known ones, OnePlus 9RT was released with much fanfare and positive reviews from common users and tech experts alike, but there is another update that they can avail as the company has apparently decided to reward its users with something more.

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that OnePlus has now rolled out Android 13 OS for its device OnePlus 9RT, which is soon finding its way into Indian models and has several unique features to boast of.

Users will be delighted to know that there will be many privacy features that will be added to the phone for enhancing data security, which is something that is a constant source of worry for many people.

Key Features

Among the key features include OxygenOS 13 stable that will be rolling out to the Indian OnePlus 9RT users that will be available for those users first that took part in the Open Beta program followed by others and if any Indian user with 9RT that is using Open beta will get a notification immediately.

Then there are features like the Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, Aquamorphic Design, Chat screenshot pixilation, etc. People that aren’t using open beta can update it manually by going to ‘Settings’, then ‘Software update’, which is over 5GB and the company itself advises 5.5GB free storage space prior to updating.

The phone’s battery has to be above 30% prior to updating, although OnePlus recommends it to be more than 50, just in case, because sometimes certain updates take a while to be completed.

The Always-On display shows regular updates about music, food delivery, app dependency, apart from optimizing earphone and screencast connectivity, while Bitmoji has colour palette and drawing tools for AOD, along with privacy features that will be pixelated.
