Nothing has started rolling out a fresh software update for the Nothing Phone (2) with firmware version Nothing OS V3.2-250828-1921. Since the rollout is staggered, not all users will receive it immediately, allowing the company to monitor performance and ensure a stable deployment.
The update introduces new features to the Camera app including a Preset option in settings. A brand-new “Stretch” preset, created in collaboration with photographer Jordan Hemingway, has been added, offering deeper shadows and extended highlights for a distinctive visual style. Additionally, the default gallery option for photo previews inside the Camera app has been refreshed.
Widgets also get an upgrade. The pedometer and screentime widgets now support sharing, and shared widgets can make use of more sticker types. The update focuses heavily on system stability and bug fixes.
The update also includes the September 2025 Android security patch, ensuring the Phone (2) stays up to date with the latest protection.
