After launching on the new Nothing Ear and Ear (a) last month, Nothing has announced that ChatGPT integration is coming to all of its audio products on May 21st.
This expansion means users will be able to summon the voice version of ChatGPT directly from their Nothing earbuds without even touching their smartphone.
The ChatGPT integration will be available on the following Nothing and CMF by Nothing audio products via a software update on May 21st:
This is in addition to the Nothing Ear and Ear (a), which already support the ChatGPT functionality.
More recently, the Nothing Phone (2) and (2a) received the Nothing OS 2.5.5 software update, which introduced significant upgrades.
This includes the aforementioned ChatGPT integration, camera enhancements, and various bug fixes.
On Nothing smartphones, such as the Phone 2 and 2a, the integration with ChatGPT is rather simple.
First, users can easily access a set of widgets offering quicker access to various input modes—text, voice, and image—of the ChatGPT app.
But the real highlight is the ability to pinch-to-speak directly to ChatGPT from the audio products connected to Nothing phones.
Furthermore, the ability to swiftly copy and paste screenshots and clipboard text into new conversations in the ChatGPT app enhances productivity and communication.
On Nothing’s audio products, users will be able to pinch-to-speak to ChatGPT directly without even touching their smartphone.
This seamless voice integration brings the power of AI to your ears, enabling hands-free interactions with the advanced language model.
