The highly anticipated Motorola Razr 50 Ultra foldable smartphone appears to be in the final stages of development, having received multiple certifications online, including India’s BIS certification.
As the successor to the Razr 40 Ultra, the Razr 50 Ultra has now had its first live image exclusively leaked by 91mobiles, likely originating from another certification process.
The leaked live image reveals that the Razr 50 Ultra’s design doesn’t seem to have changed much from its predecessor.
It retains the familiar horizontal dual-camera setup on the back, the Razr branding, and the folding hinge mechanism.
The large secondary screen and dual-camera array on the exterior also appear to be staying put, offering a convenient way to view notifications without fully unfolding the device.
The image also provides a glimpse of the back panel, which, according to earlier leaks, might be available in color options like Blue, Orange, and Green.
On the front, the Razr 50 Ultra is expected to feature a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and slim bezels around the screen, while the volume rocker and power button are likely to be placed on the right edge.
According to sources, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will bear the model number XT-24510-3 and will be available in a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration.
However, there seems to be a discrepancy regarding the model number, as earlier leaks suggested it would be XT-2453-3 instead of XT-24510-3.
This difference could be due to variations in regional releases or different storage options.
Interestingly, the leaked model number matches a previous report from January, which stated that the Razr 50 Ultra has the internal codename ‘Gory.’
While the live image and certification listings hint at the Razr 50 Ultra’s imminent launch, it’s important to take this information with the metaphorical grain of salt until Motorola officially unveils the device.
