Tecno plans to soon launch its latest CAMON 30 smartphone series in the Indian market.
The company has not yet set an official launch date, but it has begun to tease the devices on social media platforms, indicating that they will likely be released sometime this month.
The focus of the teasers is on the camera capabilities of the CAMON 30 series, which boasts Sony camera sensors.
Announced at MWC in February 2022, the lineup comprises four models: CAMON 30, CAMON 30 5G, CAMON 30 Pro 5G, and CAMON 30 Premier 5G.
In terms of key specifications, the CAMON 30 Premier 5G and CAMON 30 Pro 5G boast an impressive camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera.
Additionally, the Premier model adds a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom.
Under the hood, the Pro and Premier variants are powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor, coupled with a Mali G610 GPU.
These devices pack a substantial 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support and feature a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio enhancement.
On the display front, the CAMON 30 Premier 5G sports a 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K (1264 x 2780 pixel) resolution, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits.
The CAMON 30 Pro 5G, on the other hand, offers a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a higher 144Hz refresh rate.
While TECNO hasn’t disclosed pricing or availability details for the Indian market yet, the brand’s social media teasers indicate that the CAMON 30 series is set to make its debut in the country in the coming weeks, bringing a compelling camera-centric smartphone experience to consumers.
