Lava has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Yuva 5G.
As the name suggests, the new offering brings 5G network support to an affordable price segment, catering to the growing demand for future-ready connectivity.
Commenting on the launch, a UNISOC’s executive, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Lava for the launch of Lava Yuva 5G to the Indian market featuring UNISOC T750 5G chipset. The users can expect exceptional performance, stunning visuals, and superior connectivity experiences. This launch marks a significant milestone for UNISOC as we continue to push boundaries and innovate to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We are confident that the Lava Yuva 5G will set new benchmarks in the mobile industry and redefine the smartphone experience for its target audience.”
The Lava Yuva 5G is priced at Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB/128GB model.
It will go on sale starting June 5th through Amazon, the Lava e-store, and the company’s retail network across the country.
The 5G Lava Yuva is set to provide a fluid display experience with its 6.52-inch HD+ screen that holds a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2.5D curved screen.
Although the resolution is pretty standard for this budget segment, the high refresh rate should help with the overall visual experience.
Yuva 5G is powered by Unisoc’s T750 chipset, married to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
The company recently said the device is capable of achieving an AnTuTu score of over 350,000, indicating solid performance, at least on paper, for the price range.
On the camera front, the Yuva 5G opts for a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens at the back while setting an 8MP shooter as a front camera.
While camera configurations remain similar across budget 5G phones, image quality can vary, and a proper review will provide more insight into what the device is capable of photographically.
As an added convenience, Lava is offering a ‘Free Service at Home’ facility with the Yuva 5G.
Customers can request assistance from a technician or engineer who will visit their doorstep to address any issues or queries, regardless of their location in India.
