Now, a newly surfaced leak may have again offered an unofficial early glimpse of the upcoming shade.

The well-known China tipster named Instant Digital on Weibo has shared a new image, which is said to show the SIM tray of the iPhone 18 Pro. According to the leak, the image of SIM tray was options through a source and belongs to the Dark Cherry version of the smartphone. Notably, the image shared is of relatively low quality and it is difficult to assume the actual shade solely based on that.

However, we can say that the finish based on the leaked photo appears noticeably darker than what earlier rumours had suggested. Instead of a brighter cherry-inspired colour, the leaked SIM tray looks closer to a deep burgundy or a nearly black shade of purple.

iPhone 18 Pro – Three Colour Options Expected

Previous leaks indicate that Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro in Light Blue, Silver Gray, and Dark Cherry colour options. If these reports are accurate, the Dark Cherry variant would serve as the closest alternative to a traditional black model.

Replying to a user asking whether a black version would be available, Instant Digital reportedly said that Apple is not planning to release one reinforcing earlier rumours that the Pro models will be limited to just three colour choices.

Meanwhile, two separate leaks have suggested that Apple has also been working on a Dark Gray version of the iPhone 18 Pro. However, it remains unclear whether this colour will make it to the final retail lineup.

Previous reports have also included renders, Pantone colour references for the expected finishes and leaked dummy units showing all of the rumoured colour options.

If Apple ultimately decides not to release the Dark Gray model, it would mark the second consecutive year without a true black iPhone Pro variant. That said, a darker finish similar to black would likely be welcomed by many users. One Reddit user even said they would upgrade from a blue iPhone 17 Pro if Apple introduced such a colour.

iPhone 18 Pro Launch Expected in September

As per the latest rumours, the iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to debut in early September alongside Apple’s first iPhone Ultra. Meanwhile, Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to be offered in no more than two colour options.

Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Pad 5c in China as its newest Android tablet while expanding the Vivo Pad 5 lineup. The latest offering arrives with the same hardware and features as the recently introduced iQOO Pad 5c. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched Vivo pad.

Vivo Pad 5c – Key Features

The Vivo Pad 5c sports a 12.1 inch 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is claimed to offer up to 900 nits of peak brightness. Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 256GB UFS 4.1 storage and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

For thermal management, Vivo has equipped the tablet with a 32,200mm² vapour chamber cooling system. The company also mentions a 3D cooling system to help maintain performance during demanding workloads.

Backing the device is a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The tablet measures 266.43×192×6.62mm and weighs 584g.

In the camera department, the Vivo Pad 5c features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It is equipped with a four-speaker panoramic sound system and includes several AI-powered features such as AI PPT Assistant, Vivo File Transfer, and floating window support.

The primary camera could use a 50-megapixel Sony LOFIC sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size. LOFIC technology is designed to improve dynamic range by preserving highlight and shadow details in difficult lighting conditions resulting in more natural images in high-contrast scenes. Certain reports also claim that the primary sensor could be Sony’s upcoming LYT-838.

The smartphone is also tipped to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with an 85mm focal length. The periscope sensor is said to measure 1/1.4 inches and may support high-quality telephoto macro photography.

Vivo has increased the prices of several smartphones in its India portfolio, making devices across the premium, mid-range, and budget segments more expensive. The revised pricing applies to multiple models, including the Vivo X300 FE, Vivo V70 FE, Vivo T5x, Vivo T4 Lite, Vivo Y51 Pro, Vivo Y31 5G, Vivo Y21, Vivo Y11, and Vivo Y05. The Vivo X300 FE 12GB + 256GB variant, which was launched at Rs 79,999 and was previously selling at the same price, will now retail for Rs 86,999. The 12GB + 512GB variant has also received a similar Rs 7,000 price hike. It was launched at Rs 89,999, remained at that price until now and will now be available for Rs 96,999.

The Vivo V70 FE 8GB + 128GB variant has increased from its launch and last price of Rs 37,999 to Rs 41,999. The 8GB + 256GB version has gone up from Rs 40,999 to Rs 45,999. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 256GB variant has received a smaller increase, moving from Rs 44,999 to Rs 46,999.

The Vivo T5x 6GB + 128GB variant was launched at Rs 18,999 and was previously retailing at Rs 22,999. It will now be available for Rs 24,999. The 8GB + 128GB model has increased from its last price of Rs 24,999 to Rs 26,999 after launching at Rs 20,999. The top-end 8GB + 256GB variant was introduced at Rs 22,999, later increased to Rs 26,999, and has now reached Rs 28,999.

The Vivo T4 Lite 6GB + 128GB variant has received one of the biggest hikes. It was launched at Rs 10,999, later increased to Rs 14,999, and will now retail for Rs 18,999. The 8GB + 128GB model has also become costlier, moving from Rs 16,999 to Rs 20,999.

The Vivo Y51 Pro 8GB + 128GB variant was launched at Rs 24,999, later increased to Rs 27,999, and will now cost Rs 30,999. The 8GB + 256GB variant has increased from Rs 30,999 to Rs 33,999 after launching at Rs 27,999.

According to recent reports so far, the lineup may include the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which is expected to retain the standard book-style foldable design alongside the regular Galaxy Z Fold 8 that is tipped to debut with Samsung’s new wider form factor.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to weigh around 201g and tipped to measure 4.5mm in thickness when unfolded and 9.7mm when folded.

The standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display with a boxier 4:3 aspect ratio. It is also tipped to offer a wider 5.5-inch cover display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. According to leaks, Samsung could reserve its traditional taller Fold design for the premium Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, giving buyers two different foldable form factors for the first time.

If Samsung’s wider foldable design delivers a more practical everyday experience while maintaining portability, it could address one of the most common criticisms of book-style foldable smartphones. iQOO has expanded its premium Android tablet lineup alongside the existing Pad 5 series with the launch of the iQOO Pad 5c in China. The new tablet packs Qualcomm’s flagship-grade Snapdragon chipset with a high refresh rate display, AI-powered productivity features and a large battery. The tablet suitable for entertainment, gaming and everyday productivity. Here’s everything you need to know about the new tablet.

iQOO Pad 5c – Price and Availability

The iQOO Pad 5c is now available for purchase in China through the Vivo online store. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 38,000). The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 42,000), while the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 49,000).

The iQOO Pad 5c features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz offering a smooth viewing and gaming experience. Powering the tablet is Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. It runs Vivo’s latest OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

For photography, the tablet is equipped with a single 8-megapixel rear camera, while the front houses a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The iQOO Pad 5c also features a quad-speaker panoramic acoustic system for an immersive audio experience. To maintain stable performance during demanding tasks, the tablet is equipped with a 3D cooling system that helps prevent thermal throttling caused by overheating.

The tablet packs a 10,000mAh battery and according to the company, it can deliver up to 12.3 hours of online video playback on a single charge and offers up to 1,000 days of “extended power reserve.” For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 with a range of up to 10 metres, and a USB Type-C port.

The iQOO Pad 5c measures 266.43×192×6.62mm and weighs approximately 584g.

The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is currently available in China. Red Magic has also confirmed that the tablet will launch in global markets under the Red Magic Astra 2 branding. The company will officially announce the available configurations for international markets on July 17, 2026 through its official global portal.

As for pricing in China, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at 4,999 yuan (approximately $736). The 16GB + 512GB model costs 5,999 yuan (approximately $884), while the top-end 16GB + 1TB version is priced at 6,999 yuan (approximately $1,031).

The tablet is offered in two transparent colour options named Silver Wing and Dark Night.

The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro sports a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2.4K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. The screen uses Red Magic’s X10 display material and is rated to deliver 1,100 nits of standard peak brightness, while HDR content can reach up to 1,600 nits.

It features a 16:10 aspect ratio covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and is surrounded by slim 4.9mm bezels. For responsive gaming controls, the display is equipped with a Synaptics S3930 touch controller that supports a 300Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate.

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is accompanied by Red Magic’s dedicated RedCore R4 chip, which manages background functions such as frame interpolation and touch optimisation. The tablet features an active liquid-cooling system that uses a compact internal pump to circulate cooling liquid through a vapour chamber combined with liquid metal thermal paste for improved heat dissipation.

The Gaming Tablet 5 Pro also comes with Red Magic’s CUBE Gaming Engine 3.0, which intelligently distributes system resources to deliver smoother gameplay while improving overall power efficiency.

The device runs Red Magic OS 11.5 out of the box. It includes a built-in PC emulator with a Steam direct connection mode allowing users to play PC games locally while syncing cloud save data. Red Magic has also added several AI-powered features including a tactical coach that provides in-game strategy suggestions and a DeepSeek-powered voice assistant capable of generating audio responses during multiplayer gaming sessions.

For photography and video calls, the tablet features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 9-megapixel front-facing camera that also supports basic facial recognition.

The tablet is backed by an 8,300mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. Red Magic bundles a 100W charger in the retail box. It also supports bypass charging enabling power to be supplied directly to the system during gaming instead of charging the battery.

In terms of connectivity and additional features, the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro offers dual USB Type-C ports. Both ports support 80W charging, while one of them is a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port for faster data transfer speeds and external monitor connectivity. Other features include dual stereo speakers, a fingerprint scanner and a screen casting feature that supports wireless mirroring to a TV or monitor at up to 4K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Max has been listed in the HDR10+ certification database. The certification reveals that the smartphone is intended for AP (Asia-Pacific) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) markets.

The listing hints at a broader global rollout for the smartphone with an India launch also appearing to be a possibility.

Motorola Edge 70 Max – Expected Specifications

Motorola has not officially revealed the specifications of the Edge 70 Max yet. However, a report by 91mobiles previously revealed that the handset carrying the model number XT2611 was also spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certification platform. The listing confirmed support for 25W wireless charging.

Another recent report by Digital Citizen claims that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. If true, Edge 70 Max will become the brand’s second smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, following the premium Motorola Signature that debuted earlier this year. Since it will be positioned within the Edge 70 series, it is expected to sit between the Motorola Signature and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ in the lineup.

The report further suggests that the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with a Sony LYTIA sensor. It is also expected to come with a MIL-STD-810-certified body. Moreover, the phone may launch in Pantone colour options including Onyx Black, Sage Green, and Glacier Blue.

Apart from these details, the remaining specifications are still under wraps.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is currently priced at Rs 47,999 in India. Based on its expected positioning, the Edge 70 Max could be launched at around Rs 60,000.
