The Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is set to be officially unveiled on June 30. Ahead of the debut, the brand has offered an early look at its upcoming Gaming Tablet 5 Pro and revealed the tablet’s design details and colour options. It has also confirmed several key hardware details of the tablet that is designed specifically for gaming enthusiasts. The new upcoming tablet combines flagship-level specifications with a unique aesthetic.

Red Magic Showcases Transparent Design and RGB Lighting

Red Magic has now released official renders of the device that highlight its unique appearance and giving consumers a clearer idea of what to expect when it debuts.

According to the official renders, the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will be available in black and silver colour options. One of its most eye-catching elements is the transparent rear panel that partially exposes the internal cooling components and gives the tablet a futuristic gaming-inspired look.

Adding to the visual appeal is an integrated RGB lighting system built around the cooling setup. The lighting effects are designed to react during operation enhancing the overall gaming experience and also emphasising the device’s performance-focused identity.

The tablet also features physical volume buttons on the frame alongside a dedicated red-coloured hardware key positioned on the side. On the front, Red Magic has opted for a clean full-screen design without any visible display notches or punch-hole cutouts.

The layout with narrow bezels is intended to provide a more immersive experience for gaming and multimedia consumption.

Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro – Key Specifications (Confirmed)

Red Magic has already confirmed several core specifications of the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro. The device will feature a 9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 185Hz, which should deliver smoother animations and responsive gameplay particularly in fast paced titles.

Compared to conventional LCD panels, the OLED display is expected to provide richer colours, deeper blacks, improved contrast levels, and faster response times.

Powering the tablet will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship chipset. To maintain stable performance during demanding gaming sessions, Red Magic has paired the processor with an active liquid-cooling system designed to manage heat more effectively.

The Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is also expected to offer up to 24GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of onboard storage that gives users plenty of resources for gaming, multitasking, and storing large files. Battery capacity is tipped to be 8,300mAh and the device will support fast charging.

More details including pricing and availability are expected to be announced at the launch event later this month.
