According to a report from CIRP, most iPhone users hold onto their phones for at least three years before upgrading.
Over the past year, 34% of new iPhone buyers were replacing devices they had used for three years or longer, slightly up from 33% the previous year. On the other hand, about one-third of new phones were bought to replace devices that had been used for two years or less. This number includes both iPhones and Android smartphones.
The report also found that people aren’t necessarily upgrading because of new features like improved cameras, AI, or better battery life. Instead, the condition of their current phone plays a bigger role in the decision to upgrade.

At just 7.58mm thick, it feels sleek and comfortable in hand. It’s nothing like those big battery-capacity bulky phones.
The back finish is smooth and the Lunar Grey colour variant (which we had for this review) looks stylish without being too loud.
What really stands out is the Gemini Ring in the camera module at the back. It is one of the small design details that make T3 Ultra a real eye-catcher.
Moreover, Vivo didn’t just work on design, the T3 Ultra has a tough build too.
The phone boasts IP68 dust and water resistance, meaning it can handle everyday splashes or even being submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Moreover, the brand has used upgraded cushioning materials, raised four corners and widened the support structure.

The Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is equipped with the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset. It promises flagship-level speed and efficiency.
Whether you’re gaming, multitasking or everyday scrolling, the phone is powerful enough to fly through daily tasks. We tried multitasking on the phone.
Opened a couple of gaming apps, MS Word, a streaming app, our Gmail app and Chrome simultaneously and switching between apps was snappy.
It was clear that the phone could handle multitasking well without any noticeable flinch.
We didn’t experience any lags or performance drops while we used the phone.
However, one troubling issue with the phone is overheating. Vivo T3 Ultra got hot as soon as it had to handle some of that heavy lifting.
We tested the phone on certain benchmark platforms, and the results were impressive such as the 1401853 AnTuTu score but the phone was overheating causing in convenience.
Overheating is a concern with the Vivo T3 Ultra and it takes away from the good performance the phone carries.
We are hoping that the brand take notice of this. There is a chance some hidden setting is causing this overheating or it needs a software update.
Nonetheless, for AI-driven tasks, the new Neural Network Engine APU is at work with APU Fusion and optimized AI computing power.
The T3 Ultra handles advanced tasks like AI-based photography and speech recognition with ease. We didn’t face any issues there.
All in all, the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G brings serious power to play here. The phone can keep up with tasks without breaking a sweat.
However, the overheating concern was a little Problem otherwise the phone hase impressive performance.

When it comes to entry-level phones, we love it when brands keep things simple and comfortable while still managing to make the phone look stylish. Tecno has done that with Pova 6 Neo.
Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G has an attractive design. We had the Midnight Shadow variant for this review and it looks great.
The phone has a boxy body with round corners. The edges are neither too sharp nor curved, which makes the phone easy to hold.
It is also extremely lightweight and has a slim form. All things that eventually add to the comfort you would feel using the phone for long hours.
The almost glittery matt finish of the plastic back panel is attractive. It doesn’t attract fingerprints, which is great. We used it the entire time without any back cover, and was as good as new.
The camera module with a glass cover adds an interesting touch to the overall design.

The Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G comes with decent that supports everyday tasks smoothly. The 6.67-inchpunch-hole screen feels large enough. While the resolution isn’t the sharpest around, it still delivers decent clarity, especially for everyday use.
The high refresh rate is an advantage. It makes everything smooth – from casual browsing to intense gaming sessions. We responsiveness of the display is noticeable.
While it comes with a decent screen-to-body ratio, we noticed that the bezels seem a lot wider than expected, especially at the bottom of the screen.
Anyhow, the display is good for watching videos or casual streaming.
As for brightness, the phone holds up well in almost every surrounding condition. Not under direct sunlight though, you can expect decent performance outdoors otherwise.
Overall, it’s a pretty solid display for a phone in this price range.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chip, the Pova 6 Neo is a pretty good smartphone for everyday tasks.
We didn’t experience any slowing down or lags in regular tasks. Even when multitasking between apps, it can handle the load well.
However, you can’t expect too much heavy lifting from this phone. You can play games but do not expect a smooth experience in graphic-heavy games. It’s not a flagship chip, but the phone can handle casual gaming with ease and without stuttering too much.
We tried playing BGMI and while it was smooth initially for a few minutes, the phone started heating up soon after. Frame drops were also noticeable too while the sharpness in visuals was missing. So, we suggest that you stick to casual gaming when it comes to this phone.
We tested the phone on multiple benchmarks and it did perform decently well.
