Google Pixel 10 Series CAD renders reveal familiar design with changes including a third camera lens for Pixel 10.
Pixel 10 will retain a 6.3-inch display, while Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will have higher resolution displays with the same sizes as their predecessors.
The phones will debut the Tensor G5 chip and “Pixel Sense” AI assistant.
The series is expected to have an early release in August alongside Android 16.
As of now, launch of the Google Pixel 10 Series is still months away, but that won’t stop rumour merchants to keep digging for new exciting information. The first CAD-based renders of the Pixel 10 Series have surfaced, thanks to famous leaker @OnLeaks in association with Android Headlines. Here’s a quick look at what we can expect from the upcoming Pixel phones.
The leaked renders offer an early look at Google’s upcoming flagship lineup, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. While not official, the images suggest Google is sticking to its familiar design with a few key changes.
Google Pixel 10 – Same Size, but a Big Camera Upgrade
Google Pixel 10 CAD based renders. (Image credit – OnLeaks/Android Headlines)
According to the renders, the Pixel 10 will have the same 6.3-inch display and nearly identical dimensions as its predecessor, measuring 152.8 x 72.0 x 8.6mm (plus 3.4mm for the camera island). It’s technically 0.1mm thicker than the Pixel 9, though this could be due to slight rounding differences or a minor design tweak like thicker glass.
The biggest change is probably a third camera lens on the back, which is going to be a first for the standard Pixel model.
Previously, one of the major differences between the base Pixel and Pro models was the camera setup, but this shift could mean Google is bringing a periscope telephoto lens to the vanilla model.
However, the Pro-exclusive thermometer sensor will likely stay that way.
Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL – Slight Changes, Same Display Sizes
Google Pixel 10 Pro CAD based renders. (Image credit – OnLeaks/Android Headlines)
The Pixel 10 Pro appears to be the same size as the regular Pixel 10, and like its predecessor, it may feature a higher display resolution compared to the base model (likely 1280p+ vs. 1080p+).
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL CAD based renders. (Image credit – OnLeaks/Android Headlines)
As for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, it will measure 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5mm, making it 0.1mm shorter than the Pixel 9 Pro XL while maintaining the same thickness. It will stick with the same 6.8-inch display as last year’s model.
One small design detail remains unchanged, which is the standard Pixel 10 will have a matte mid-frame, while the Pro models will feature a glossy finish, a trend Google seems to consider “premium.”
Pixel 10 Series – What Else To Expect?
The Pixel 10 series will debut the new Tensor G5 chip, which marks a significant shift. Unlike previous Tensor chips, which were co-developed with Samsung, the G5 is reportedly built by TSMC, possibly with MediaTek’s involvement. This new chip is expected to enable 4K 60fps HDR video recording, an upgrade from the previous 4K 30fps limit.
Moreover, a new “Pixel Sense” AI assistant is rumoured to launch alongside the Pixel 10 series.
Google might also be shifting its release timeline. With Android 16 set to roll out between April and June, the Pixel 10 lineup could follow sooner than usual, possibly in August instead of the usual October launch.

The global smartwatch market saw a 7% decline in 2024.
Apple hit with a 19% drop despite remaining the market leader.
Huawei climbed to second place with a 35% increase in shipments.
China became the world’s largest smartwatch market for the first time with leading brands Huawei, Imoo and Xiaomi driving growth.

The global smartwatch market saw a decline in 2024 for the first time ever, with shipments dropping by 7% compared to the previous year. The data points were revealed in a recent Counterpoint Research report titled “Global Smartwatch Shipments in 2024: Market Declines for First Time, China Leads for First Time.”
According to the report, Apple saw a significant 19% dip in shipments despite holding onto the top spot. However, Huawei climbed to second place with a 35% increase, driven by strong demand in China and a diverse lineup that includes everything from basic wearables to kids’ smartwatches and high-end models.
Commenting on Apple’s performance, Senior Research Analyst Anshika Jain said, “Apple Watch witnessed a decline in momentum on its 10th anniversary, despite the launch of the S10 series. The biggest driver of the decline was North America, where the absence of the Ultra 3 and minimal feature upgrades in the S10 lineup led consumers to hold back purchases. Additionally, patent disputes limited shipments in the first half of the year. The slowdown of the existing Apple Watch SE lineup and the lack of new SE models also contributed to the decline.”
“In terms of regions, China, for the first time, recorded the highest ever shipments, surpassing NAM and India in 2024. Huawei, Imoo and Xiaomi were the front runners of the China market. Their diverse portfolios, ranging from basic, advanced to kids’ smartwatches, along with the Chinese consumer’s inclination towards these brands drove the overall adoption,” Jain added.
Samsung secured third place with a modest 3% rise in shipments, thanks to the success of its Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra series. Xiaomi had an impressive year, with shipments skyrocketing by 135%.
Commenting on the different smartwatch segments, Research Analyst Balbir Singh said, “Only the kids’ smartwatch segment witnessed growth with Imoo remaining the market leader driven by its affordable, feature-rich offerings. The kids’ smartwatch segment is gaining traction as parents are concerned for their children’s safety, and they desire to track and stay constantly connected with their children. With the decline of basic smartwatches, other brands such as Noise, boAt and Google’s Fitbit have started diversifying their portfolio to include kids’ smartwatches. This is a good sign for the market’s diversification and indicates further growth in the future.”
Commenting on the global smartwatch market outlook, Associate Director David Naranjo said, “The smartwatch market is expected to recover slowly and witness single-digit percentage growth in 2025. Both Android and iOS smartwatches are expected to integrate more AI capabilities and advanced sensors to provide deeper insights into health data. For advanced sensors, smartwatches are expected to incorporate sensors for measuring bodily signals such as serious heart health tracking, focusing on atrial fibrillation, sleep apnea, hypertension and diabetes. Brands will emphasize on getting regulatory approvals for their new smartwatch models and incorporating new health features to sustain their position in the market.”
The primary reason for the overall market decline was a slowdown in India. Consumer demand weakened due to a slow replacement cycle, lack of innovation and underwhelming experiences for first-time smartwatch buyers.
On the other hand, China became the world’s largest smartwatch market for the first time, growing by 6% year-over-year and reaching its highest-ever shipment numbers. Leading brands in China included Huawei, Imoo (formerly BKK) and Xiaomi.
Looking ahead, the market is expected to gradually recover in 2025, driven by advancements in AI and improved health monitoring features in upcoming smartwatches.

Thousands of users were unable to access X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning, with outages reported across the U.S. After nearly eight hours of disruption, Elon Musk claimed that the platform was under a “massive cyberattack.” Here’s what we know so far.
Musk’s Statement on the Outage
“There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against 𝕏. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved. Tracing …,” Musk wrote on X.
In a live Fox News interview on Monday, Musk also claimed that the attack appeared to originate from IP addresses in the Ukraine area. However, there is no concrete evidence yet to support his claims beyond his statements.
Musk has been more prominent since the start of President Donald Trump’s second administration. His leadership has been marked by abrupt budget cuts to government funding, job programs and international aid. His growing influence has also sparked protests at Tesla stores, with Tesla’s stock taking a hit as well.
Given Musk’s high-profile status, it wouldn’t be surprising if X was targeted by cyberattacks. However, without further verification, his claim remains unconfirmed.
How The X Outage Unfolded?
According to Downdetector, which tracks website outages, X first went down for some users at 5:30 a.m. ET, with over 20,000 reports of issues. While service was partially restored after an hour, a second wave of outages hit around 9:30 a.m. ET, with over 40,000 reports of users unable to access the platform.
Some users were able to log in intermittently, but problems persisted until 1:30 p.m. ET.
For a platform of this size, occasional outages are common, but they’re never convenient. One frustrated user on Downdetector summed it up best, “On day 1 of the NFL free agency!? ELON Fix this.”
