The Vivo X Fold5 has officially launched in India as the company’s latest foldable smartphone.  While it keeps the same chipset as last year’s X Fold3 Pro, Vivo has improved the design to make it lighter, thinner and more durable than ever. One of its biggest highlights is the massive 6,000mAh battery, which is the largest ever in an Indian foldable. Here’s all you need to know.

Vivo X Fold5 – Comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7

The X Fold5 will be directly competing with the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, which starts at Rs 1,74,999.

While both phones feature a book-style folding design, the Vivo X Fold5 sets itself apart with its circular camera module and dimensions. It is 4.3mm in thickness and 217g in weight, which is slightly heavier than Samsung’s latest. Z Fold7 is touted as the “thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable yet.”

Vivo X Fold5 – Key Features

The Vivo X Fold5 features dual AMOLED panels. The main foldable screen is 8.03 inches with a 2,480 × 2,200 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The cover screen is 6.53 inches, also with a high resolution and smooth refresh rate. The display continuity feature allows seamless app transitions between the two screens.

The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is now one generation old but still delivers solid performance. It runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and includes a host of AI tools like AI Captions that converts audio to text during meetings and Origin Workbench to let users run up to five apps at once.

Durability-wise, the X Fold5 has Armour Glass protection and is IP59 rated for water and dust resistance, a step up from the IP48 rating on Samsung’s foldable.

Vivo takes the lead with its 6,000mAh battery paired with 80W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold7 has a smaller 4,400mAh battery with 25W wired charging. The X Fold5 also includes a charger in the box, which Samsung skips.

The X Fold5 comes with five cameras in total. These include –

  • Two 20MP selfie cameras, one on the cover display and one inside the main screen.
  • A triple 50MP rear camera setup with ZEISS optics including a 3x telephoto, ultrawide, and primary sensor.

You also get AI editing tools like object eraser, recomposition, reflection removal, and photo enhancer.

Xiaomi’s “Pandora” Phone May Get Mi 11 Ultra-Like Rear Display

0

Highlights

  • Xiaomi is reportedly developing a “Pandora” phone (model Q200) with a Mi 11 Ultra-style rear display.
  • It is expected to be the flagship of the Xiaomi 16 series, possibly replacing the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s spot.
  • The phone may debut in September 2025 exclusively in China with a global rollout likely in early 2026.

If recent reports are of any indication, it seems Xiaomi might be revisiting the secondary display on the back design idea for one of its future phones. We have previously seen this rear display on the Mi 11 Ultra. Here’s what reports say.

Xiaomi “Pandora” Phone – Rear Display

Recent leaks suggest that the company is working on a new smartphone codenamed “Pandora,” which could feature a secondary screen on the back. As we mentioned above, it will be similar to what we saw in the Mi 11 Ultra.

The first hints came last month from a leak by popular tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. DCS claimed the phone would have a horizontal rear display next to the camera module. Now, more evidence has surfaced, this time from Xiaomi’s own software.

Xiaomi Q200 and Dual-Screen Support

The latest version of HyperOS includes code references to a device with the model name “Pandora” and model number Q200. Most interestingly, there’s a direct mention of sub-screen display support, pointing towards a second screen on the back.

image

Xiaomi hasn’t launched a dual-display phone since the Mi 11 Ultra, which had a small rear screen for viewing notifications, framing selfies, and more. While the feature didn’t catch on widely, it looks like Xiaomi is ready to give it another shot.

According to earlier leaks, the Q200 is expected to be the top-end model in the upcoming Xiaomi 16 series, positioned above the Xiaomi 16 Ultra. It might even replace the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s spot in the lineup. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 16 and 16 Pro are rumoured to be more compact models.

image
Model number 25098PN5AC surfaced. (Image credit – XiaomiTime)

There’s no official word yet and hardware specs are still under wraps. The full model number 25098PN5AC doesn’t reveal much either.

Leaks suggest the Q200 could launch in September, alongside the Xiaomi 16 and 16 Pro, but only in China at first. That’s in line with Xiaomi’s usual strategy, where the brand tests experimental phones in China before deciding on a global rollout.

In any case, if the phone does make it overseas, it may not arrive until early 2026.

FAQs

Q1. What is Xiaomi’s “Pandora” phone expected to feature?

Answer. It may include a secondary rear display, similar to the Mi 11 Ultra, as suggested by leaks and references found in the latest HyperOS code.

Q2. Where will the “Pandora” phone be placed in Xiaomi’s lineup?

Answer. The phone, model Q200, is expected to be the top-end device in the Xiaomi 16 series, potentially replacing the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s position.

Q3. When is Xiaomi’s “Pandora” phone expected to launch?

Answer. It could debut in September 2025 in China only, with a global rollout likely in early 2026, following Xiaomi’s usual strategy.

Google Pixel 10 Series Pricing Leaks

According to Roland Quandt of WinFuture, the Pixel 10 lineup will carry the same pricing structure as the Pixel 9 series in Europe. The base Pixel 10 will start at €899 for the 128GB model, and the most expensive will be the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, going up to €2,289 for the 1TB version.

Here’s the full price breakdown:

Model Variant Wise Pricing
Pixel 10 128GB – €899

256GB – €999

Pixel 10 Pro 128GB – €1,099

1TB – €1,689

1TB – €2,289

These prices are in line with the Pixel 9 series in European markets like France. The only real changes are that the Pixel 10 Pro XL no longer offers a 128GB variant, and the Fold model now comes in a 1TB option.

On the other hand, Google’s new A-Series earbuds the Pixel Buds 2a are getting more expensive. They’re expected to start at €149, up from the €109 price tag of the current Pixel Buds A-Series.

There’s no word yet on whether US pricing will change due to tariffs, but in Europe, things seem to be holding steady. Also, this pricing leak directly refutes earlier rumours that suggested the Pixel 10 Pro Fold would be cheaper.

Another part of that rumour hinted at a €100 price hike for the Pro XL, which might have been based on the removal of its lower storage variant.

A separate leak earlier this month, also from Digital Chat Station, hinted at a flagship with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) and a trio of 50MP cameras including a periscope lens. It now seems both leaks are pointing to the same phone, most likely the iQOO 15.

Meanwhile, there’s also chatter about an iQOO 15 Ultra, which might sport a 6.85-inch LTPO display, a massive 7000mAh battery, and both 100W wired and wireless charging.

Launch Timeline

There’s no official word on the launch date yet. But since the iQOO 13 was unveiled in late October last year, we can expect the iQOO 15 series to debut around October 2025 as well.

The iQOO 13 starts at 3,999 yuan in China and comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 144Hz LTPO OLED panel, a 6150mAh battery, and triple 50MP cameras with 2x telephoto zoom.

If the leaks hold up, the iQOO 15 could deliver a well-rounded flagship experience with upgrades in display tech, photography, and charging.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Flagship-Level Display, Battery, and Charging Features Leaked

0

Highlights

  • The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE leak will reportedly feature a 6.7″ flexible LTPO OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 1Hz–120Hz refresh rate.
  • It’s expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery with 45W fast charging while maintaining a slim 7.4mm profile.
  • Other rumours features – Exynos 2400 with up to 512GB storage, Android 16 with One UI 8 and receive 7 years of software updates.

It was earlier hinted in multiple leaks that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE is shaping up to be a major upgrade over its predecessor. Reports suggest we can expect improvements in display, battery, and charging that bring it closer to the Galaxy S25 Plus. Now, a report has surfaced online giving us some specific details. Here’s what we know.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE – LTPO OLED

A new report reveals that the Galaxy S25 FE will keep its 6.7-inch screen but switch to a flexible LTPO OLED panel. This means the display can adjust its refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, improving battery efficiency. It will feature FHD+ resolution and Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, offering vibrant colours and smoother visuals.

This is a big leap from the rigid OLED displays used in earlier Fan Edition models. Samsung Display is reportedly getting ready to start mass production of these flexible screens for the S25 FE.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE – Rumoured Specs

The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery, up from 4,700mAh in the previous model. Even better, charging speeds are getting upgraded to 45W, matching the Galaxy S25 Plus. That’s a big jump from the 25W support in past FE phones.

Despite the bigger battery, the Galaxy S25 FE may be Samsung’s thinnest FE model yet, just 7.4mm thick and weighing about 190g. That’s impressive given the added features.

The phone will be powered by the Exynos 2400 chip and expected storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, all paired with 8GB of RAM. Whether 8GB is enough for One UI 8 and Galaxy AI features remains to be seen.

Camera-wise, it’ll carry over the S24 FE’s setup of a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto. The front camera, however, is getting a refresh with a new 12MP sensor.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE later this year, and it’ll ship with Android 16-based One UI 8. Even better, it’ll get seven years of software updates, one more than the Galaxy S25 series, giving it a longer lifespan.
