Vivo Y600i and Y600i AI Edition Listed on Google Play

Highlights

  • Vivo Y600i and Y600i AI Edition have appeared in the Google Play Supported Devices list with model number V2617A.
  • No specifications or hardware details have been revealed yet.
  • Y600i will most likely be positioned below the Y600 Pro and Y600 Turbo, though specs are still unconfirmed.

Vivo appears to be expanding its Y600 series with another smartphone. The company has already introduced two Y600 series models in China and a new listing suggests that another device could soon join the lineup. Based on its name, the upcoming phone may sit towards the more affordable end of the series.

According to a recent Xpertpick report, the Vivo Y600i and Y600i AI Edition have now appeared in the Google Play Supported Devices database. Both smartphones are listed with the same model number V2617A, which was also recently seen on China’s MIIT certification database.

It also doesn’t reveal any specifications or hardware details through the Google Play listing either.

Vivo Y600 Lineup – What To Expect?

While the listings confirm the names of the two upcoming devices, they do not explain how the regular Vivo Y600i will differ from the Y600i AI Edition. The Y600i could be positioned below the existing Vivo Y600 Pro and Y600 Turbo in the company’s lineup.

There is also expected to be a standard Vivo Y600 positioned between the Y600i and Y600 Pro. However, there is currently no information confirming the existence of this model.

The upcoming Vivo Y600i is expected to succeed the Y500i, which was launched last year with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. Considering its position in the lineup and its predecessor, the Y600i could also use a relatively low-powered chipset.

However, there is currently no confirmed information about its processor or other specifications. More details are likely to emerge through future leaks and certifications, so it may be worth waiting for more reports.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Official CAD Renders Leaked Revealing Design In Lavender Colour

0

Highlights

  • Samsung Galaxy S27 lineup tipped for early 2027 launch with four models including S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra.
  • Standard Galaxy S27 CAD renders show slim bezels, flat display, pill‑shaped triple‑camera module, and a new lavender colour replacing Pink Gold.
  • Galaxy S27 Ultra leaks suggest a horizontal rectangular camera island and possible MagSafe‑style charging support.

Samsung is currently working on its upcoming four-model Galaxy S27 lineup for its expected early 2027 launch. Although the launch is still several months away, leaks surrounding the flagship phones have already started to surface. We have already reported that the series will most likely include the Galaxy S27 Ultra, Galaxy S27 Pro, Galaxy S27+, and the standard Galaxy S27 model.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra was recently shown in leaked renders and now new CAD renders have revealed what could be the design of the standard Galaxy S27. Leaked images suggest Samsung may not be making any significant design changes to the standard model this time other than going for slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor. Here’s more on what we know.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Design Revealed in Leaked CAD Renders

The leaked CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy S27 have been published exclusively by Android Headlines in collaboration with tipster Steve H.McFly @OnLeaks. The images suggest that Samsung could retain much of the design language seen on this year’s Galaxy S26.

The Galaxy S27 is shown with a pill-shaped camera module positioned alongside the LED flash. The phone appears to have a flat rear panel with a triple-camera setup arranged in the top-left corner. Samsung’s branding is placed towards the lower portion of the rear panel.

The handset could also retain a flat mid-frame with the power button and volume controls on the right side, while multiple antenna bands can be seen running around the frame. At the bottom, Samsung appears to have placed a USB Type-C port between the speaker grille and microphone.

Moving to the front, the Galaxy S27 is expected to feature a flat display with a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout. This opening could house the front camera for selfies and video calls. The screen is surrounded by relatively slim bezels, which could be slightly thinner than those on the current model.

Galaxy S27 Could Get a New Lavender Colour

The leaked renders show the standard Galaxy S27 in a lavender colour. If Samsung launches the phone in this shade, it could represent a new colour option for the lineup.

The lavender finish is also expected to replace the Pink Gold colour offered with the Galaxy S26. Although the final colour options for the Galaxy S27 have not yet been confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy S27 – Expected Specs and Price

As per reports, upcoming Galaxy S27 will most likely stick to a 6.3-inch display with dimensions somewhere around 149.75 x 71.88 x 7.25mm. No major changes are expected when it comes to design, as we can see from the renders.

As for hardware, it is possible that Samsung decides to pack the Exynos 2700 globally and Qualcomm in select pockets. But it remains unconfirmed currently if Samsung use with the Exynos 2700 SoC or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. Some reports have claimed we will see the Korean brand use both chipsets for the standard model depending on the market. The standard model is expected to have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Samsung is reportedly testing a new Sony sensor instead of ISOCELL sensor on the base Galaxy S27. If turns out to be true, this will be the first camera change on the base model in over five years. Samsung may also go for Silicon-Carbon batteries for Galaxy S27 series after adopting for foldables this year. Rumours suggest almost a 14% increase in battery capacity to 4,900 mAh.

As for pricing, we can expect another price hike for the Galaxy S27 thanks to the ongoing RAM crisis. So, a $100 price hike for the Galaxy S27 in February wouldn’t be surprising but we will definitely know more in the coming months.

Alleged Galaxy S27 Ultra Real Life Images Surface

Based on recent render leaks, we know that Samsung may reserve the major design overhaul for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Now, a couple of real-life images of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra have surfaced online giving a glimpse of exactly what to expect from the new design.

Posted by Sunny @sunnny1583 on X based on a leak by @WalleGalaxy, the images reveal MagSafe charging could finally be coming to Galaxy phones. However, we could not confirm the authenticity of these images.

Earlier leaked renders of the Ultra model have pointed to a significantly different rear camera arrangement. Instead of the pill-shaped camera decoration, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to feature a horizontal rectangular camera island.

The Ultra model is also tipped to come with three rear cameras, which would be one fewer camera than the previous-generation model. This suggests that Samsung could introduce a much more noticeable design change on the top-end Galaxy S27 Ultra while keeping the standard Galaxy S27 appearance familiar.

More details are expected to surface in the coming months.
