User mtanner876, for example, commented on the post saying, “I have the same problem with my Watch 7, it is driving me crazy. I’m in contact with Samsung support since 2 weeks, no progress. I did a hard reset yesterday without restore from backup, so all from scratch and the problem is still there. Samsung is unable to solve this problem until now, no idea what will be next.”

As per a recent update, the feature will help users spot misleading or altered images more easily. It’s a step by WhatsApp to empower users to fact-check images right within the app.

Spotted by WaBetaInfo in the latest beta version (2.24.23.13) of WhatsApp’s Android app, the feature allows users to perform a quick web search on images shared in chats.


According to WaBetaInfo, Users can use the in-app feature whenever they receive an image that seems suspicious.

All they have to do is tap on it, open the three-dot menu and select “Search on Web.” WhatsApp will do a Google reverse image search, which might help in finding the original source or detect if the image has been altered in any way.

This new feature basically allows WhatsApp users to quickly check images without necessarily having to download or upload them elsewhere.

It might take some time for WhatsApp users to get used to finding the option in the menu. Nonetheless, it’s a useful addition that could encourage more people to verify images before sharing them.

Samsung is also set to have its next lineup released in 2025, which means we are getting tons of speculations about what to expect from the brand.

Recently, a report in a Korean online publication suggested that Samsung is planning to release a more budget-friendly Galaxy Z Flip model in 2025.

Moreover, the Korean manufacturer will also release versions of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Fold 7.

This is now being viewed as Samsung’s attempt to boost its popularity in the foldable segment, which isn’t growing as swiftly as the brand initially expected.

According to a report from Lanzuk on Naver, Samsung has plans for three new additions in 2025. These include the Galaxy S25 Slim as was reported last week, a Galaxy Z Flip FE and a new variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

While some may doubt the authenticity of this claim, the claims were supported by tech insiders @Jukanlosreve and Max Jambor on X (previously Twitter). Jambor further noted that there will be at least one new foldable in Samsung’s lineup for 2025.

The Galaxy Z Flip is currently the most affordable foldable from Samsung in the market. However, its price increased to $1,099 with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 release.

Meanwhile, competitors like Motorola have been offering foldables at lower price points such as the Motorola Razr (2024), which costs just $699.

This competitive pricing from other brands could also be the reason Samsung decided to offer a cheaper Galaxy Z Flip option. 

Samsung previously stated it had no plans for a more affordable Galaxy Z Fold model. However, the company later hinted at the possibility of a lower-cost foldable during an earnings call.
