According to Korean tech blogger TheBell, the South Korean tech giant is working on reviving its Exynos processors and the Exynos 2600 could debut with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026.

Samsung has reportedly achieved a 30%+ yield in its latest SF2 (2nm) test production and is now focused on improving this further. If all goes as planned, mass production of the Exynos 2600 will start in Q4 2025. 

The company’s System LSI Division and Foundry Division are pushing to make this happen, but Samsung has faced yield issues in recent years. The Exynos 2500 reportedly had a low yield rate of just 20%, which is one of the reasons Samsung opted for an all-Snapdragon Galaxy S25 lineup this year.

The report, translated from Korean to English via Google Translate, reads: “It is reported that Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Business Division and Foundry Business Division are pouring related resources into timely mass production of the Exynos 2600.
