Amazon India has posted a new teaser page confirming Jio Bharat as its latest Amazon Specials product. It reveals that the new affordable 4G feature phone will soon be available.
Specifically, the Jio Bharat will start selling on Amazon from August 28. The sales will begin at noon IST on the same date .

Karbonn Jio Bharat Phone Design, Features
It’s a normal feature phone with the D-pad for navigation, and the physical keypad.
There’s a tiny colour screen, and a camera at the back.
It has features like any other smartphone. There’s only one dark grey and silver colour combination for this device.
The Jio Bharat phone comes in red and blue colour options.
The Karbonn Jio Bharat 4G feature phone comes with JioCinema and JioSaavn ,you can watch movies and listen to music on it.
It also has the JioPay app that lets you make UPI payments through this smart feature phone.
You also get the FM radio app with this phone. The company has said that it would partner with other brands as well, who will adopt the Jio Bharat platform.
Jio Bharat Plans
There are separate recharge plans for the Jio Bharat phone. The Jio Bharat plans start at Rs 123 for 28 days.
With this recharge plan, you get unlimited voice calls, and 0.5/GB of data per day.
There’s also the Jio Bharat annual plan priced at Rs 1,234, and with this one too you get 0.5/GB per day and unlimited voice calls.
Jio Bharat 4G Phone Specifications
The phone features a 1.77-inch display. The phone has external microSD card support up to 128GB.
It should help you store your favourite music, videos, photos, and more. It consists of a 0.3MP (VGA) rear camera with LED flash. Jio has packed the Jio Bharat phone with a 1,000mAh battery.
Jio is gearing up to release its first fixed wireless access (FWA) device called Jio AirFiber which is testing these days .
It is rumoured to be 20% more affordable than Airtel Xstream AirFiber.
