Honor 700 Pro Tipped to Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
According to the leak from Digital Chat Station, Honor could be bringing its new “dual 8-chip” strategy to the Honor 700 lineup. The smartphone maker is looking to bring flagship-level power to consumers seeking top-end performance without flagship pricing, with a dual 8-chip strategy across the lineup. The leak hints at major internal enhancements, marking a direct upgrade over the previous Honor 600 series.
Honor 700 Pro Could Offer Flagship-Level Performance
Reports suggest that the Honor 700 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU based on a 3nm technology. This CPU packs substantial computing strength with two proprietary Oryon Gen 3 prime cores clocked up to 4.6GHz and an Adreno 840 GPU built for intense multi-tasking with ease.
The Pro mode is getting Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the standard Honor 700 could run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
