HMD Vibe 2 Pro Goes Official: 6,000mAh Battery, 64MP Camera and Dimensity 6300

HMD has expanded its Vibe smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Vibe 2 Pro 5G. The smartphone comes as the successor to the HMD Vibe 2 5G, which arrived in the Indian market earlier this year. With the new model, HMD has upgraded key areas including the display, cameras and battery.

HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G Price and Availability

HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G will be available on Flipkart starting October 8, just during the Big Billion Days sale on the platform.

As for pricing, the HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G price starts at Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The higher 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 17,999.

As part of a limited-period launch offer, the two variants will be available for Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively.

The phone can be purchased in three colour options named Silver Mist, Aqua Green and Cosmic Purple.

HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G – Key Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software side, the HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G ships with Android 16 and is promised to receive two years of security updates.

HMD has equipped the phone with a dual rear camera system placed inside a raised square-shaped module. The setup includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera with a circular LED flash positioned underneath the two camera rings. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

A 6,000mAh battery powers the HMD Vibe 2 Pro 5G with support for 33W wired charging. The phone supports 5G connectivity and features dual stereo speakers for audio playback. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect wired headphones and earphones directly to the device.

The Vibe 2 Pro 5G also brings Indus AI by Sarvam, which is designed to provide smart assistance across more than 22 Indian languages. The AI tools can be used for tasks such as drafting content, answering questions and planning with support for regional languages. The smartphone also supports the Sanchar Saathi Safety app.

As per the brand’s claim, after-sales support will be handled across HMD’s network of over 200 service centres. It also runs pickup-and-drop service coverage spanning more than 18,000 postal codes.
