HMD will officially start the first sale of the HMD Vibe 2 5G in India today i.e. May 26, 2026 at 12:00 PM IST. The smartphone was launched in the country last week as the company’s affordable 5G offering featuring a Unisoc processor, a large battery, and built-in AI capabilities.

The HMD Vibe 2 5G is now available for purchase through Flipkart and the official HMD website. The smartphone comes in two storage configurations in India and is priced below the Rs 12,000 segment.
The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the HMD Vibe 2 5G is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs 11,999.
As part of the launch offers, HMD is providing a discount of Rs 1,500 on the smartphone for a limited period, reducing the effective starting price to Rs 9,499. The offer is available under select bank promotions and applies to transactions made using cards from ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Yes Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, CSB Bank, and AU Small Finance Bank.
Customers using debit or credit cards from these participating banks can avail of an instant discount of Rs 1,500.
Moreover, the same Rs 1,500 discount is also applicable on purchases made using UPI payments. The company has confirmed that this limited-period offer will remain valid on Flipkart until May 31.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G is available in Nordic Blue, Cosmic Lavender, and Peach Pink colour options.

One of the major highlights of the smartphone is the inclusion of Sarvam AI. According to HMD, the AI integration aims to “democratise AI for millions of Indians with multi-language support across 22 regional languages.” The smartphone also comes preloaded with the Sanchar Saathi app.
In terms of specifications, the HMD Vibe 2 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Unisoc T8200 chipset and runs on Android 16 operating system.
