OnePlus has announced that they are looking for active users of the OnePLus community to beta test the new OxygenOS 13 for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. Users of the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India may now sign up for the OxygenOS 13 open beta programme. You can test out the Android 13-based upgrade as soon as you apply for it.

The requirement for participation requires you to have an Indian version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The user should be an active member of the OnePlus community and be prepared to accept any risks associated with the beta programme.

Device users in India should be using the firmware version CPH2381 11.A.13 in order to apply for the update. You can apply for the update once you are using the abovementioned version.

If you fish to beta test the operating system then you may follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Open Settings on your OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G

Step 2: Tap about this device

Step 3: select Update

Step 4: Tap the icon located in the top-right area

Step 5: Choose the beta programme

Step 6: Click Beta and complete the form

Step 7: Submit the beta form to finish

OnePlus will select 1,000 individuals from India to test the OxygenOS 13 beta version so you must hurry up.

The new update brings a unique Aquamorphic design, optimized UI, adding some efficiency with better security and privacy features. They have also added Quantum Animation Engine 2.0 and Chat screenshot pixelation feature. For the gaming community they have added HyperBoost GPA 4.0 which will stabilize the frame rate and balance the performance and power consumption.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G was released at the beginning of the year, with Android 13. It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone sports a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel resolution and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 SoC. It has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 33 W rapid charging.

There is no update for the high-end user as of now. The new OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11 Pro are expected to be released in December of this year. If the leaks are to be believed, then the phone will have a ceramic body and a powerful 5000 mAh battery. There are also rumours that the OnePlus 11 Pro will be renamed the OnePlus 11 and sold solely as the OnePlus 11. It is also speculated that OnePlus is working on a different device known as the OnePlus 11R. Only time will tell what’s true and what is not.
