Anushka Sharma was recently spotted shooting at Howrah Andul for the upcoming sports biopic on the life of ace Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami titled Chakda Express. The actress was seen in an unrecognisable avatar as she was probably shooting for Goswami’s early years or school life. The popular Hindi film actress has been sharing regular updates on her social media about this ambitious project since the shooting started She also shared a BTS video on her Instagram recently giving a close glimpse of the ongoing shooting. Fans have been excited to see not only Anushka in a completely new space but also to know more about the life of one of India’s celebrated cricketers.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is celebrating 27 years of release as the all time blockbuster was released on 20th October 1995. The film is one of India’s most iconic films of all times with fans spread across the world. It is often credited as the film that catapulted Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan into unbelievable superstardom and cemented the actor as romantic hero of generations. DDLJ is also credited for positioning the romantic brand of SRK-Kajol and their characters Raj-Simran as the iconic on-screen couple of all times.

It’s party season in Bollywood! Diwali is still a couple of days away but Bollywood stars have embraced the festivities in full glore and started the pre-Diwali parties in full media glare this time. Kriti Sanon hosted one of industries starriest Diwali Bash party in Mumbai early this week. The start-studded event was enough to turn many eyeballs as famous film and entertainment personalities, all decked up in most exquisite designer wear, took a walk down the party red carpet.

Jr NTR Receives Special Gift During RRR Promotions from Japanese Fan
The grand success ride of RRR continues! The film cast and crew, including Jr NTR and Ram Charan, was recently in Japan for country wide promotions before its grand release. RRR was released in Japan on 21st October.
While the whole cast was busy in promotions, Jr NTR had an emotional moment with a fan in foreign land. A fan presented the actor with a special gift as she met him while she was working as staff in the hotel the crew stayed. The special gift made not just the actor but the entire Twitter quite emotional with many RRR fans sharing the video of their interaction on their handles quoting it as an emotional and iconic moment.
One fan on Twitter quotes the video saying, “I’m feeling double happiness as she’s from Nepal and she met him and he praised her as well.” Another quotes the same video with caption, “Only NTR fans can feel this high.”
RRR has been grabbing headlines ever since its release. The film recently lost its chance of getting nominated as India’s official entry to Oscars. However, after fans running several online campaigns, the film is still running the Oscar race as the producers later decided to send the film for nomination in 14 categories under the “For your consideration” campaign.
