Android 13 Go Edition Introduced with Material You Design

Google introduced an updated version of Android for entry-level smartphones. Android 13 (Go edition) has been introduced with some interesting upgrades and new functionalities after the release of Android 13. The 250 million+ active Android users can now access the latest tech at a starting price of Rs 6999 with Google play system updates embedded in them.

Prior to this update, entry-level mobile phone users were aloof from the technical advancements either due to technical lag or less memory space in their mobile handsets. Google rolled out the latest tech for budget-friendly smartphone users to bring them into the mainstream of technical advancements without putting a load on the internal space or other less efficient capacities of their handsets.

Google has rolled out a new Android update for budget-friendly Android 13 Go Edition devices. The latest update does not hamper mobile storage and gives other improved user experiences as well. The “Material You” feature is surely a thing mostly desired by low-budget mobile users.  The “Material You” feature enables the users to:

  • customize the devices similar to Android 12 and Android 13-powered smartphones
  • customize the phone’s colour schemes according to the selected wallpaper

  • select colour application to the notification bar, settings app, keyboard etc

Now budget-friendly mobile users get to choose among the colour options to get the contrasting screen display and other highlighted features. Google announced its new updates two months post- Android 13 Go Edition launch. Walking on the footmarks Xiaomi recently unveiled its Redmi A1+ in India powered by Google Android 12 (Go Edition) in the Indian mobile market. These base variant devices offer 2 GB RAM with 32 GB storage, MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, Dual rear camera setup along with a 50000mAh battery. It is also loaded with a fingerprint reader that is unavailable on the standard Redmi A1+ in India model.

Google has correctly identified the need of the hour and rolled out an Android 13 Go Edition update that was the need of the hour.
