Amazon has unveiled a wide range of new devices powered by its upgraded AI assistant, Alexa+. The announcements include four new Echo products, refreshed Kindle Scribe models with a colour option, and an updated Fire TV lineup with smarter AI-driven features. Here’s all you need to know about the new launches.

The new Echo lineup consists of the Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11, all equipped with more powerful hardware, extra sensors, and Alexa+ integration right out of the box.
The devices are powered by Amazon’s new AZ3 and AZ3 Pro processors. The Echo Dot Max runs on AZ3, which improves wake-word detection by 50%, filters background noise, and powers Amazon’s most advanced microphone system yet. The Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11 use the faster AZ3 Pro chip, enabling advanced language models and vision transformers for smarter, quicker responses.
All four models also feature Omnisense, a sensor system that combines a 13MP camera, radar, audio, accelerometers, and Wi-Fi signals to detect activities at home. This allows Alexa to act proactively, such as sending reminders when someone enters a room or alerting you if the garage door remains open after 10 p.m.

The Echo Dot Max introduces a redesigned audio setup with two speakers. One is a high-excursion woofer and the second is a custom tweeter, delivering almost three times the bass of the Echo Dot (5th gen).
Meanwhile, the Echo Studio is now 40% smaller than the original and comes with a high-excursion woofer and three full-range drivers. It supports spatial audio and Dolby Atmos for an immersive sound experience. Users can also pair up to five Echo Dot Max or Echo Studio units with Fire TV devices to create an Alexa-powered home theatre system.

Both new Echo Show displays feature in-cell touch technology and a negative liquid crystal design for sharper visuals in any lighting condition.
A 13MP camera allows Alexa to greet users and provide relevant information at a glance. Acting as smart home hubs, the displays also support Zigbee, Matter, and Thread standards for seamless device control.

Amazon has also refreshed its Kindle Scribe lineup, introducing slimmer, faster, and more productive models, including the first-ever Kindle Scribe Colorsoft.
The latest Kindle Scribe measures just 5.4mm thick, weighs 400g, and is 40% faster in writing and page-turning. It features an 11-inch glare-free display designed for reading, note-taking, and reviewing full-size documents.
The new front light system uses miniaturised LEDs for even lighting and slimmer bezels. A texture-moulded glass adds natural pen friction, while a reworked display stack reduces parallax almost entirely, making writing feel more like paper.

Under the hood, it packs a quad-core chip, upgraded memory, and Oxide display technology for smoother performance.
The standout model, Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, introduces colour writing support while maintaining the same design. It uses Colorsoft display technology with a colour filter, nitride LEDs, and a light guide to deliver soft, eye-friendly colours. A new rendering engine enhances visuals without sacrificing writing smoothness. Like the standard model, it offers weeks of battery life and remains distraction-free with no unnecessary apps.
