Acer Nitro

The company announced the laptops at the CES 2023 tech trade show in Las Vegas. Acer launched Nitro and Swift laptops with Intel processors.

The new AMD Ryzen mobile processors deliver power-optimized performance along with a plethora of enhanced user experiences.

Leveraging its new Zen 4 core architecture which is designed for high performance and efficiency, gamers and mobile workers are treated with accelerated performance for outstanding productivity and power efficiency.

In addition, select models feature AMD’s Ryzen+AI technology, for video effects like eye gaze correction.

The Acer Nitro 16, Nitro 17, and Swift Go 14 will be launching in various regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and China from May. It is unclear when these laptops will be available in India.

Acer hasn’t announced the Indian pricing for these laptops either. In North America, the Nitro 16 starts at $1,149.99 (approximately Rs 94,534) and the Nitro 17 starts at $1,199.99 (approximately Rs 98,645). Meanwhile, the Swift Go 14 starts at $849.99 (approximately Rs 69,874).

Acer’s Swift Go 14 features 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The display covers 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and delivers 500-nits peak brightness.

The thin-and-light laptop weight less than 1.3kg and has a sleek design. The Swift Go 14 features AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM alongside up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

Acer claims that the laptop offers up to 9.5 hours of battery life.

Besides these, the Swift Go 14 comes with enhanced thermal performance and several connectivity options.

The Nitro 16 features a 16-inch WUXGA or WQXGA display with 165Hz refresh rate. The display offers 100 percent sRGB colour gamut with 84 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Meanwhile, the Nitro 17 has a 17.3-inch FHD or QHD display with up to 165Hz refresh rate. Both of these laptops are powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs.

They also support up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Along with these, Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 laptops come with improved cooling tech, 4-zone RGB keyboard, and various connectivity options.

Ans) The Nitro 17 (AN17-41) houses the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs within its slim but solid construction. The 17.3 display comes in either an FHD display with 144 Hz or 165 Hz refresh rates or a quad high-definition display (QHD) with a 165 Hz refresh rate, supported by an 81% screen-to-body ratio.

Its large gaming space is topped off with a big touchpad (125.0 mm x 81.6 mm) and an RGB 4-zone
