* Xiaomi launched its Smart TV X Pro series in India today.

Xiaomi today unveiled a series of new products at its Smarter Living event in India. The new product lineup includes the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 series, RVC Mop 2i, Grooming Kit and Trimmer 2C. It also unveiled the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series that runs on Google TV making it a first for the company in India.
The Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series comes in 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch sizes. This is the first Xiaomi TV in India that is powered by Google TV. The base model also boasts Dolby Vision IQ making it the only 43-inch TV available with the technology in India.
The Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro 43-inch model is priced at Rs 32,999 but it can be purchased at Rs 31,499 with bank offers. The 50-inch model is priced at Rs 45,999 and it has an offer price of Rs 41,999. The top-tier Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro 55-inch model has been priced at Rs 47,999 but with bank offers it can go as low as Rs 45,999.
The first sale for the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series is scheduled for April 19th, at 12 noon. It will be available on mi.com, Flipkart and through offline retail partners.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series features a metal bezel-less design with aluminium alloy frames and a carbon fibre finish back panel. Xiaomi has also added 4K HDR, Dolby Vision IQ, Vivid Picture Engine 2 technology, and Wide Colour Gamut.
The TVs pack a 40W speaker system along with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology.
XiaoOn the software front, the Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro series runs on Google TV that was launched in 2020. With Google TV, users can get easy access to streaming apps and live TV, and built-in Google Chromecast. There’s Xiaomi’s PatchWall as well for content discovery and with the newer YouTube integration.

The Xiaomi Grooming Kit or electric trimmer is another product to be launched in the Xiaomi Smarter Living 2023 event today. The product will have a better grip and include additional attachment heads for added versatility.
The company is also expanding its smart TV series by launching an all-new model of the Xiaomi X Pro series. The new model is expected to come with a sleek metal design, slim bezels, and a bigger screen.
The Xiaomi Smarter Living 2023 event will also launch new products such as Mi NoteBook Pro, Mi TV 5X Series, Mi Smart Band 6, Mi Router, Mi 360-degree Home Security Camera, and Mi Running Shoes.

Ans) The new Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 and Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite look more or less similar, but the duo differ in sizes to suit the customers’ requirements. The regular Smart Air Purifier 4 covers more areas and is suitable for homes or big rooms. It offers 360-degree filtration with its three-layer filtration system. The company states the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 offers a Particle Clean Air Delivery Rate (PCADR) of up to 400m3/h, capable of circulating air across a maximum area of 516 sq. ft within 10 minutes. On the other hand, Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite comes with a PCADR of up to 360m3/h and can deliver 6000L of clean air per minute.
Xiaomi’s new air purifiers can do the basics — that filter out visible and invisible pollutants. The latter include PM 2.5, PM 10 particles, and even gas fumes. Xiaomi adds that the new purifier can “effectively filter” out allergens in the air.
Both the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 and the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite can be operated via a remote or the Xiaomi Home app. Users can also connect the devices with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for hands-free control. The company promises low fan noise, with the regular model operating at 32.1db and the Lite variant’s fan noise level at 33.4db.
The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 includes an OLED screen to check the mode and other indicators. The Lite model has an LED screen.

Ans) After launching the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro and Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop, the company has launched the Roomba-inspired Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i.
As the name suggests, the Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i features a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop combo. Xiaomi states the new vacuum-mop uses 2,200 pa suction and its powerful brushes make it ideal for homes. The robot vacuum also includes a Gyroscope and Optical Sensor Aided Navigation to map “complex” home layouts. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2i has specially designed zig-zag cleaning to cover every corner of the house. Equipped with a 450 ml independent large dust compartment, the users do not need to clean up the garbage frequently, saving time and effort.
