The company has confirmed that it will launch the Xiaomi Pad 6 in the country next week.
Now ahead of the new launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has slashed the price of its last year launched — Xiaomi Pad 5 Android tablet.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes in two variants and both the them have received a price cut.
The upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 Android tablet is set to be launched in India on June 13, offering several improvements over its predecessor, with the addition of the powerful Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Prior to the tablet’s release, Xiaomi has reduced the prices for its consumers .
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is available in two options: 128GB and 256GB, priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively. The 128GB variant has been reduced by Rs 1,000, while the 256GB version has seen a price drop of Rs 500. Customers can now purchase the 128GB model for Rs 25,999 and the 256GB variant for Rs 28,499 after the price adjustment.
The tablet is offered in the Cosmic Grey color option.
Additionally, Xiaomi is offering an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on purchases made with an ICICI bank credit card.

Xiaomi has slashed the prices of both variants of the Xiaomi Pad 5 in India. The 128GB variant, which retailed at Rs 26,999, can now be purchased for Rs 25,999. On the other hand, the top-end 256GB variant was priced at Rs 28,999 but is now retailing for Rs 28,499. It can be purchased in Cosmic Black colour from Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi stores across India.
