Vivo might be gearing up to introduce a new sub-brand called Jovi, as three Jovi-branded phones recently appeared on the GSMA database with their marketing names.
The name ‘Jovi’ is already familiar to Vivo users as it’s used for the company’s system applications, particularly its AI assistant.
Among these phones is one with the model number V2440 marketed as the Jovi V50 Lite. Here’s all we know about the phone from its Geekbench appearance.
The Jovi V50 Lite has now surfaced on Geekbench, spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia. The listing identifies the device as Vivo V2440.

The motherboard section mentions k6835v2_64, hinting that the processor could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
So far, not much has been revealed about the Jovi V50 Lite, but earlier reports suggest that Jovi-branded phones might initially be exclusive to China. There’s also speculation that these phones could be rebranded Vivo models. If that’s true, the Jovi V50 Lite might launch as the Vivo V50 Lite in global markets.
