The Vivo Y-series is popular among budget-conscious buyers in the entry-level and mid-range smartphones segment. Now, the brand appears to be preparing to expand its Y-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the Vivo Y05e. The upcoming handset has now surfaced on the Google Play Console database indicating that its official debut may not be far away. The latest database appearance also offers a glimpse at several key specifications of the Vivo Y05e ahead of its launch.
Vivo Y05e Listed on Google Play Console

The Vivo Y05e has been spotted on the Google Play Console with the model number V2606. The listing includes a render of the device, revealing a waterdrop notch display on the front. While the exact screen size has not been disclosed, the smartphone is listed with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a screen density of 300dpi.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by the Unisoc UMS9230 processor. The chipset features two ARM Cortex-A75 performance cores clocked at 1.6GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 1.6GHz. Graphics duties are handled by the ARM Mali-G57 GPU operating at 650MHz.
Based on the listed specifications, the chipset is believed to be the Unisoc T606. The processor confirms that the Vivo Y05e will be a 4G LTE smartphone and will not support 5G connectivity.
The device is paired with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 16 out of the box.
Vivo Y05e – What Else We Know So Far?
The Vivo Y05e had previously appeared on the FCC certification platform, which revealed additional hardware details. According to the certification, the smartphone will pack a 5,050mAh battery and will be offered in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration.
The listing also confirmed support for OriginOS 6, Bluetooth connectivity, and Wi-Fi 5. Meanwhile, the device’s TÜV certification revealed support for 15W charging.
At present, Vivo has not disclosed any details regarding the camera hardware of the smartphone.
With multiple certifications and database listings now revealing several key specifications, the Vivo Y05e appears to be nearing its official launch. However, there is currently no indication that the device will arrive in India anytime soon as it has not yet been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform.
