The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung has also confirmed the inclusion of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection to improve durability against scratches and accidental drops. The high-refresh-rate AMOLED panel is expected to deliver smooth scrolling, vibrant colours, and an enhanced viewing experience for multimedia consumption.

The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 octa-core processor. Samsung has also confirmed that the device will come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which should help deliver faster app loading times and smoother multitasking. Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy M47 5G will ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 right out of the box.
It will be backed by a 6,000mAh battery, making it suitable for extended gaming, streaming, and daily usage. Samsung has also confirmed support for 45W wired fast charging on the Galaxy M47 5G. The smartphone will also offer bypass charging, a feature designed to reduce battery stress by powering the device directly during intensive tasks such as gaming.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is Samsung’s commitment to long-term software support. The company promises six major Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the smartphone.
The device will also include several AI-powered features including AI Voice Transcription, further enhancing productivity and convenience.

For photography, the Galaxy M47 5G will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. The system includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
On the front, the smartphone houses a 12-megapixel selfie camera inside a centered hole-punch cutout. Samsung claims the device will support 4K video recording allowing users to capture higher-resolution videos using the camera system.
Durability appears to be another focus area for the device. According to Samsung, the Galaxy M47 5G offers 4x improved scratch resistance and can withstand falls from heights of up to 2 meters.
