Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X300 Ultra in China soon as the latest addition to its X300 series lineup. Although the handset was showcased earlier this month at Mobile World Congress 2026, the company has not officially confirmed its launch date yet.
However, a recent leak has hinted at a possible launch timeline while also revealing key specifications of the upcoming flagship smartphone. Moreover, the device has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, offering an early look at its hardware.
Vivo X300 Ultra in early Geekbench results.
According to a tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X, the Vivo X300 Ultra with model number V2562 has surfaced on the Geekbench database.
Screenshots shared by the tipster indicate that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with the Adreno 840 GPU. The listing also confirms 16GB of RAM and Android 16 as the operating system.
In terms of performance scores, the handset recorded 1,618 points in the single-core test and 6,015 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. However, the tipster noted that these results are likely from an early testing unit, which may explain the relatively lower benchmark scores compared to expected final performance.
Tipster’s latest post on Weibo.
A separate leak from tipster Bald Panda on Weibo suggests that Vivo may host a launch event in China towards the end of March. Although the tipster did not explicitly name the device, the post referred to a model labelled “U”, which is widely believed to indicate the Ultra variant.
Based on the leaks, media reports now speculate that the Vivo X300 Ultra could be officially unveiled in China on March 30.
Meanwhile, multiple reports indicate that the X300 Ultra might not launch alone. During MWC 2026, Vivo also showcased another handset called the Vivo X300 Max. Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao later confirmed that this device will launch in China under the name Vivo X300s.
The smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch display with support for up to a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel will use BOE Q10 Plus luminescent material and include support for “Circular Polarised Light 2.0”, which is designed to enhance eye protection.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is also expected to focus heavily on camera performance. Reports suggest it may feature a fifth-generation Zeiss 200-megapixel “Thanos” periscope telephoto camera built around Samsung’s Samsung HP0 sensor.
The device is also tipped to incorporate Vivo’s BlueImage imaging technology. According to the company, this system is designed to improve colour accuracy, autofocus performance, HDR processing, and overall power efficiency during photography.
