Vivo has officially launched the X200 Ultra and X200S in China. The X200 Ultra is the follow-up to last year’s X100 Ultra and packs top-tier hardware, while the X200s comes with a slightly different feature set and a more affordable price tag. Let’s break down what both phones offer.

The Vivo X200 Ultra features a big 6.82-inch curved 2K AMOLED LTPO display with smooth 1–120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and high 2160Hz PWM dimming. It’s protected by Armor Glass and covers 93.3% of the front.
Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with an Adreno 830 GPU, paired with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It’s powered by OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, and features a super-fast 8-core CPU clocking up to 4.32GHz.
For imaging, it uses two dedicated chips, VS1 and V3+, to boost photo and video quality while easing the load on the main chipset.

It even includes a physical camera control key and optional Zeiss photography kits, like a 200mm telephoto lens, grip with zoom/shutter controls, and filter adapter.
The phone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired, 40W wireless and reverse wireless charging. Vivo claims it can last up to 23.4 hours of talk time and 18.3 days on standby.

The X200s comes with a 6.67-inch flat OLED display (1.5K resolution), sourced from BOE. It refreshes at 120Hz, supports 2160Hz PWM dimming, and can reach 4500 nits of brightness.
Inside, it’s one of the first phones to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+, an overclocked chip offering 20% better AI performance than its predecessor. It’s paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and goes up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

It runs Android 15 with OriginOS 5, includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, laser autofocus, flicker sensor, and dual speakers. It’s also IP68/IP69-rated for water and dust resistance.
The phone has a 6,200mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging and uses Vivo’s dual-cell design.
Compared to their predecessors, both the Vivo X200 Ultra and X200s bring some notable upgrades.
The X200s now features a slightly smaller 6.67-inch display down from 6.78 inches on the X100s. But gets a big performance bump with the new Dimensity 9400+ chip, which replaces the older 9300+. The battery also sees a major jump, from 5,100mAh to 6,200mAh. The wireless charging support has been added at 40W. Camera-wise, the older 64MP telephoto lens is swapped out for a 50MP 3x optical zoom sensor.
As for the X200 Ultra, it steps up from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite, bringing more power and efficiency. The battery grows from 5,400mAh to 6,000mAh. The charging speeds have been improved too with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, up from 80W and 30W.
These upgrades make both devices more capable and ready for power users.
