Vivo is gearing up to launch its Vivo V50 series in India, but it looks like only the standard Vivo V50 will debut next month. According to a recent leak, the V50 Pro’s release has reportedly been delayed, with no clear timeline for its arrival. Here’s what we know so far.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the Vivo V50 is set to launch in February 2025. Unlike previous launches, the Pro variant might not be introduced alongside the standard model. Instead, it could debut at a later date.

Apart from India, the Vivo V50 is expected to launch in several international markets as the phone has already received certifications in countries like Malaysia and Taiwan.
As per the leak, the Vivo V50 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and will offer three storage variants:

While the leak doesn’t provide complete details about the Vivo V50’s specs, it is rumoured to be a rebranded or modified version of the Vivo S20, which launched in China in December 2024.
The Vivo S20 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
For photography, the S20 sports a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus, a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device also packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
