Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo S30 series will launch in China on May 29. Alongside the phones, the company will also unveil the Vivo Pad 5 and Vivo TWS Air 3. Ahead of the big day, both the Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini are now up for pre-order on Vivo China’s website, Jingdong Mall and other major online retailers.

The official listing reveals that the Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini will be available in three configurations –

You can choose from four colour variants, which are Mint Green, Peach Pink, Lemon Yellow and Cocoa Black.

Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini – What We Know?

According to Ouyang Weifeng, VP of Vivo China’s product division, the S30 Pro Mini will replace the usual Pro model this time around. It comes with a 6.31-inch flat display and a massive 6500mAh battery. He also shared an image of the phone in blue placed next to the iPhone 16 Pro, suggesting that its thickness will be similar and that the Pro Mini has a metal frame.

As for the Vivo S30, Ouyang revealed it features a larger 6.67-inch flat screen and will be ultra-thin and stylish.

Popular leaker Digital Chat Station revealed that the S30 Pro Mini will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor. The Vivo S30 will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750) chipset, a step up from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in the S18, S19 and S20 models.

Both phones are expected to have the same 6500mAh battery and a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera, according to the leak.
