The Vivo S2 has gone on sale in India starting today after the handset was officially launched earlier this month. The newly launched smartphone is now available through the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and leading retail outlets. Here’s everything you need to know.
Vivo S2 – Price and Availability in India
The Vivo S2 is offered in Silk White, Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze colour options. It comes in two storage configurations with prices starting at ₹39,999. Here’s how prices look inclusive of all applicable taxes –
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹39,999
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – ₹44,999
Vivo S2 Sale Offers
Vivo is offering several launch benefits on the S2 through its retail and online sales channels.
For purchases through mainline retail outlets –
- Buyers can get up to 10 percent instant cashback using SBI Card, IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Cards, DBS, YES BANK, HDFC Bank, BOBCARD and UPI.
- Customers can opt for up to 15 months of zero down payment on select partners or receive up to 10 percent V-Upgrade exchange bonus.
These offers are accompanied by a flat 40 percent discount on V-Shield, covering screen damage protection with the plan starting at Rs 960. Buyers also get a one-year free extended warranty.
Vivo is also offering a Jio benefit that includes 5,000GB of cloud storage for 18 months along with free Google Gemini Pro benefits.
For online purchases –
- Customers can avail themselves of up to 10 percent instant bank discount on selected cards from HDFC Bank, State Bank of India and Axis Bank.
- Buyers can alternatively claim up to 10 percent exchange bonus or opt for up to 15 months of no-cost EMI.
- A one-year free extended warranty and the Jio offer of 5,000GB cloud storage for 18 months with free Google Gemini Pro benefits are also available.
Vivo S2 – Key Features
The Vivo S2 features a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with up to 3,000 nits of local peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor. Vivo claims that the S2 has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 9,70,000, indicating its focus on everyday performance in the premium mid-range segment.
For photography, the Vivo S2 has a 50-megapixel Sony main camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel front camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. Other imaging features include Dual View Video and AI Erase 2.0, allowing users to remove unwanted elements from photos.
The device packs a large 7,050mAh battery, while its durability credentials include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The smartphone also offers military-grade durability.
On the software front, the Vivo S2 runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 offering the company’s latest software experience.
