Vivo has officially launched the Vivo S17 series smartphones in China today. The newly launched Vivo S17 series includes two devices namely the Vivo S17, Vivo S17t, and the Vivo S17 Pro.
Speaking about the specifications, the newly launched Vivo S17 series smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Powering the vanilla S17 model under the hood, there’s an octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, while the S17 Pro comes with Dimensity 8200 chipset.
All three devices feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 50MP front-facing camera with a dual LED flash, and a 4,600mAh battery which offers 80W fast charging support.
Vivo S17 Series Pricing, Availability
The vivo S17 comes in Mountain Sea Green, Pink, and Black colours. The S17 Pro on the other hand is available in Mountain Sea Green, White, and Black colours.
The pricing of the Vivo S17 8GB RAM + 256GB storage starts at CNY 2499 (Roughly Rs 29,084), while the 12GB RAM model with 256GB of internal storage costs CNY 2799 (roughly Rs 32,600).
The Vivo S17t comes in sole 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. It is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 34,900). As far as the Vivo S17 Pro pricing goes, it retails for CNY 3099 (roughly Rs 36,040) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
The S17 Pro 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage model is priced at CNY 3299 (roughly Rs 38,400) and CNY 3499 (roughly Rs 40,800).
These devices are available for order and they will go on sale in China from June 8.

The vivo S17 series feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz 60° curved AMOLED display with 2160Hz high frequency PWM dimming, feature a 50MP autofocus front camera with dual soft LED flash, 0.8x and 2x zoom option, and pack a 4600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The S17 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and has a 50MP rear camera with Sony IMX766V sensor, OIS. The S17 has a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC and has a 50MP rear camera with OIS. These pack an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and the Pro model also comes with a 12MP 2x telephoto portrait camera.
