Vivo V25 Pro Review: Upgraded Model Statement
The name Vivo requires no introduction as it is one of the biggest tech brands in existence, despite receiving stiff competition from the likes of Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and many others.
It just recently launched the Vivo S15 Series in May 2022, which was also the first version to use the Snapdragon 870 SoC chipset and quickly became extremely popular among the masses and classes.
Vivo is ready now, six months later, to launch the Its S16 Series, while the rumour mills are buzzing strongly regarding its features because tipsters having connection with inside sources of the company tend to spill the beans prior to the launch of any device.
The same happened this time as well as it was revealed that the it will have three models, Vivo S16, S16 Pro, and S16e, all of which will be coming with three different chipsets that will support an 80W fast charging support.
There are also different renders of the new series whose design will be similar to that of the previous generation, while the chipset for the three models include Samsung Exynos 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, and MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chips.
The MediaTek chipset is incredibly new in the S16 series lineup where the Dimensity 8200 SoC was launched on December 8, 2022, which is also an upgraded version of Dimensity 8100, although in the new chip you will find technology improvement, CPU frequency, APU, and GPU.
The new chipset adopts TSMC’s new generation 4nm process technology, along with an architectural design of 1+3+4, which includes 3.1GHz maximum frequency, 4 Cortex A78s, and plus 4 energy-efficient core A55s.
MediaTek Dimensity 8200 comes with MediaTek Imagiq 785 image processor, which is a 14 bit HDR ISP providing support for up to 320MP main camera, while also supporting 4K 60Hz video recording triple camera, and double exposure HDR camera.
Snapdragon 870 is one of the most powerful chips that Vivo S-series has ever used, which is why Vivo is all set to retail its place in the Vivo S16 Series, where Vivo S16 is the model that comes equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip, while the other two models will use Samsung Exynos 1080 and MediaTek 8200 chips.
Also, it has already passed the 3C certificate and also supports 80W fast charging support, while the price rate of the three models hasn’t been revealed as yet, so one can expect new information on it in the coming days.
