Before Guardian of the Galaxy: Volume 3, the fans of the series received a glimpse of Groot’s life in the Disney+Hotstar series “I am Groot.” We also saw the guardians in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will air on Disney+Hotstar on 25th of November’ 2022 as the last outing of Phase 4. If you want to know what happens in the Guardians Holiday Special right away, The whole story has already been leaked online. We can’t confirm if the leak details are true or not. The full story of Wakanda Forever was, however, told by the same source and it did turn out to be true.
The Guardians want to give Quill the best Christmas possible because he is still upset about Gamora (Zoe Saldana), whom he lost in “Infinity War” and then again in “Endgame.” The younger version had no idea about them being in love. Drax and Mantis acquire Knowhere from the Collector and now want to go to Earth to bring Kevin Bacon as a gift to Peter Quill.
Kevin Bacon isn’t the only notable guest star in the sequel. According to a plot leak, the Guardians Holiday Special would include flashbacks of Yondu (Michael Rooker) conversing with Peter over the holidays. These moments will tear your heart as they demonstrate Yondu’s undying love for Peter since he was a toddler. Yondu died in the MCU’s primary world, thus these sequences will be heartbreaking.
In the Guardians Holiday Special, we’ll meet Cosmo, the space dog who can move things with his mind. There’s also a great Easter egg about Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) that MCU fans will love. This Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special plot leak says that Nebula (Karen Gillan) will find a way for Rocket to get Bucky’s arm.
Mantis, portrayed by Pom Klementieff, is Peter’s half-sister, as we learn early on in the film. She is frightened of telling Quill that Ego is her father because he would regard her as the daughter of the guy who murdered his mother. The mystery will be revealed at the conclusion of the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special. And Peter will be overjoyed to learn that he has a sibling or sister. Peter informs her that this is the nicest present he has ever received. The Guardians Holiday Special credits sequence does not disclose any significant information and there is no trailer for the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy.
In the end credit scene, Rocket and Cosmo decorate Groot in the style of a Christmas tree. “Come on, Groot!” Rocket exclaims as Groot lowers his arms dropping the ornaments. “Groot has once again wrecked Christmas!” Cosmo exclaims with a strong Soviet accent. Then, as everyone turns to face the camera, Rocket declares, “Now we need another special.” There is no mention of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3.
So there you have it, by the leaked details it seems the mini movie which holds the run time of 44 minutes will be an entertaining watch and wholesome conclusion to the phase 4 of the Marvel cinematic universe.
