Tecno has officially unveiled its Tecno Spark 40 series. The lineup features three models, the Spark 40, Spark 40 Pro, and the top-end Spark 40 Pro+. The new lineup brings upgrades in display, performance, and durability, with IP64 dust and water resistance on the two Pro models. Here’s more about all three models.

The Spark 40 Pro+ is the first smartphone to launch with MediaTek’s new Helio G200 processor. It comes with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage.
The phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1220p+ resolution and a super smooth 144Hz refresh rate. There’s also an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 13MP front camera.
At the back, you get a 50MP main camera, along with a secondary sensor. Powering the phone is a 5,200mAh battery, which supports 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

It runs HiOS 15.1 based on Android 15, and comes in Nebula Black, Aurora White, Moon Titanium, and Tundra Green. In Uganda, it’s available for UGX 769,000 (around $214) and is currently up for pre-order.

The Spark 40 Pro shares the same 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen, 1220p+ resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate as the Pro+. However, it’s powered by the Helio G100 chipset, with the same 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage options.
You also get a 50MP rear camera, a 13MP front camera, an IP64 rating, and a 5,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The device is offered in Ink Black, Moon Titanium, Lake Blue, and Bamboo Green. It’s priced at UGX 679,000 (around $189), with open sales starting July 7 in Uganda.
