Vivo is gearing up to launch its upcoming Vivo V70 FE smartphone in India on April 2, according to recent media reports. The company has also begun teasing the device officially with a dedicated microsite confirming the presence of a 200MP primary camera. Alongside the launch timeline, details about its colour options have surfaced including a standout Monsoon Blue variant featuring a glow-in-the-dark finish. Here are more details.
The Monsoon Blue colour option brings a unique design approach. In normal lighting, the device appears as a subtle matte blue finish. However, in low-light conditions, the back panel reveals streak-like glowing patterns after exposure to light.
Vivo is expected to promote this as part of its “Darkness Glow” material, which enables the rear panel to emit a soft glow in the dark. Another colour option is Northern Lights Purple and it is also anticipated in a more subtle gradient finish. With these finishes, Vivo is clearly focusing on design differentiation, especially with the glow effect.

The teaser images showcase a flat-edged frame paired with a vertically aligned dual-camera setup. Positioned below the cameras is Vivo’s signature Aura Light ring flash, which is designed to enhance portrait photography.
The camera module carries “200MP OIS CAM” branding, aligning with the company’s earlier teaser confirming the high-resolution primary sensor.
The Vivo V70 FE is positioned below the standard V70 lineup and marks the first ‘Fan Edition’ in the V-series. The smartphone has already debuted in Indonesia, giving a fair idea of its specifications.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, targeting upper mid-range performance with a focus on stable everyday usage rather than heavy gaming.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also likely to pack a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.
On the camera front, the device is said to include a 200MP primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP front camera. Additional features may include IP68 and IP69 ratings for durability, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The large battery capacity is one of the key highlights, reflecting a growing trend of higher-capacity batteries across different price segments.
As for pricing, the Vivo V70 FE is expected to be priced between ₹30,000 and ₹40,000 as per earlier leaks.
