Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G debuts in India

Xiaomi India launched another series of premium smartphones – Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge with 120W HyperCharge technology and Xiaomi 11i with 67W Turbocharge technology. Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is India’s first smartphone to launch with the company’s proprietary 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge technology. The industry-leading technology will enable a 100% charge in just 15 minutes. The Hypercharge technology deploys a combination of innovations across the battery, charging circuit and the charger.

Samsung showcases new types of foldable displays at CES 2022

Samsung showcased four foldable display technologies at CES 2022, including three new panels that could feature in smartphones, and a display that could be used in a foldable laptops. The company revealed its Flex S, Flex G, and Flex Slidable panels aimed at smartphones, along with the Flex Note panel that could make its way to keyboard-less laptops with foldable displays. However, Samsung is yet to reveal any plans to turn these concept devices into retail products.

Infinix Note 11, Note 11S getting extended RAM

With the latest OTA update, the Infinix Note 11 series featured a brand new feature having extended RAM technology, which allows the phones RAM to be boosted. In Note 11s (8GB+128GB), the device’s RAM will be boosted by 3GB – from 8GB to 11GB. Similarly, in Note 11s (6GB+64GB), the RAM will be boosted by 1GB – from 6GB to 7GB. And, in Note 11 (4GB+64GB), device’s RAM will be boosted by 1GB – from 4GB to 5GB. Extended RAM technology means that a part of the ROM will be used to work as RAM when the RAM is not sufficient to ensure smooth performance.

Instagram announces three new feed options

Instagram was planning to bring back a chronological feed option for long. Now, the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri announced that the app is rolling out for some users the ability to switch between different feeds. The social media platform is finally starting to test the new implementation and that it has already reached some users. The company will launch three different views on the user’s home screen, with two of them giving you the option to see posts in chronological order.
