Vivo appears to be preparing another smartphone for its Y series. The upcoming Vivo Y600 5G has been spotted on the Google Play Console database revealing some of its key specifications. The listing also hints that the phone could be a rebranded version of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G sold in Malaysia. Here are more details.
Vivo Y600 5G Appears on Google Play Console

The Vivo Y600 5G has been spotted on Google’s supported devices list with the model number V2655 and device code V2626.
Interestingly, the V2626 device code is also associated with the Malaysian Vivo V80 Lite 5G and the upcoming Vivo S2 FE. The latter is scheduled to launch in India on October 6, 2026. The model number V2655 has also appeared on Google’s supported devices list under the Vivo V80 Lite 5G name. This adds further weight to the possibility that the Y600 5G could be another rebranded version of the same smartphone.
Vivo Y600 5G Specifications Revealed
According to the Google Play Console listing, the Vivo Y600 5G will feature a display with a 1260 × 2800-pixel resolution and a 440 DPI screen density.
The smartphone is listed with the MediaTek MT6858 chipset. The processor configuration includes four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz. Graphics are handled by a dual-core ARM Mali-G610 GPU with a clock speed of 1GHz.
The Malaysian Vivo V80 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, which uses the same CPU clock speeds and comes with the same display resolution mentioned in the Y600 5G listing. This further suggests that the upcoming Vivo phone could use the same chipset.
The Google Play Console listing also mentions Android 16, with SDK 36 along with around 6GB of RAM.
Is Vivo Y600 5G a Rebranded Vivo V80 Lite 5G?
The details currently available suggest a connection between the Vivo Y600 5G and the Malaysian Vivo V80 Lite 5G. The Y600 5G is listed with the V2655 model number and V2626 device code, while the Vivo V80 Lite 5G has also appeared with the V2655/V2626 identifiers.
The hardware information adds to this possibility. The Malaysian Vivo V80 Lite 5G uses a 1260 × 2800-pixel display, which matches the resolution mentioned in the Vivo Y600 5G’s Google Play Console listing. The V80 Lite 5G is also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, whose CPU configuration matches the MT6858 information shown for the Y600 5G in the listing.
These similarities strongly suggest that the Vivo Y600 5G could be a rebranded version of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G.
However, Vivo has not officially confirmed that the two smartphones are the same device.
Vivo Y600 5G Global Launch Expected Soon
The Vivo Y600 5G is expected to be the first smartphone in the Y600 series to launch in global markets. While Vivo has not announced a launch date yet, smartphones that appear on the Google Play Console typically launch within the following one or two months.
