Samsung has finally confirmed the rollout date for its long-awaited One UI 7 update. The update will start rolling out on April 7, but not all regions will get it at the same time. Samsung recently shared more details about its release schedule and some countries will have to wait a little longer.
Here’s what we know so far.
Samsung recently announced that One UI 7 would officially start rolling out on April 7 without a beta program. However, while the initial announcement came from Samsung Korea, the global press release clarified that “availability may vary by market.”
Further regional press releases confirmed that One UI 7 will roll out gradually rather than all at once. In South Korea, the update will start on April 7, but other countries will see delays. Here’s the official schedule so far:
Samsung hasn’t shared a full global schedule yet, and in some countries, its Newsroom hasn’t even posted about One UI 7’s rollout.
The update will also vary by device, but according to Samsung’s US press release, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will all get One UI 7 at the same time.
One UI 7 is mostly a visual update, but Samsung is also introducing new AI-powered features. However, not all devices will get every feature. Here’s what’s coming:
One feature that hasn’t expanded beyond the Galaxy S25 series yet is “Now Brief,” an AI-powered daily summary tool.
Most One UI 7 AI features will be available across multiple Galaxy devices, but Audio Eraser and natural language search in Settings are limited to fewer models. Here’s a breakdown:
